Minerals in the soil by the vast majority of inherited and transformed from rock,different types of rock cause mineral content are different,direct impact on the physical and chemical properties as well as the various features of the fertility of its soil formation.Purple soil is the main soil types in Chongqing,so study kind of purple soil minerals and trends relative content can not only provide the basis for improving the region's soil fertility(ion exchange capacity),to promote the theory of soil mineralogy in the region,but also be able to purple soil mineralogical studies provided in Chongqing basic data.In this study,the use of X-ray diffraction analysis of soil samples in Chongqing several main parent material(Penglaizhen,Shaximiao,Suining group and artesian group)as well as the development of the same kind of purple soil parent material at different developmental levels were less than 2?m clay analyzed.Qualitative analysis of the major soil minerals purple soil types,quantitative analysis of the relative content of various samples of soil minerals and illite crystallinity.Explore the characteristics and variation of soil mineral assemblage in the Chongqing region of purple soil,revealing changes in the soil during the development of the external environment.The main results are as follows:(1)Qualitative analysis of minerals from the soil can get:the Chongqing region's main parent material composition of purple soil mineral content is relatively consistent.Penglaizhen stone bones of soil,sand,mud half sand half,two mud,large mud clay minerals in the soil more consistent,mainly illite,kaolinite,mica,smectite mixed-layer minerals,smectite,vermiculite,chlorite and quartz,but Penglaizhen soil and rock bones Penglaizhen two montmorillonite clay was not detected in the presence of a large Penglaizhen sandy soil and also for the detection of the presence of chlorite.Suining Group bones clip sand stone,sand,mud half sand half,two mud,large mud clay minerals in the soil more consistent,they were not detected in the presence of chlorite,mainly illite,kaolinite,mica,Iraq fudge layer mineral,montmorillonite,vermiculite and quartz,but in Stone bones clip Suining Formation sand soil and semi-semi-montmorillonite clay was also not detected presence.Shaximiao stone bones earth,stone bones clip sand,sand,mud two large mud clay mineral content in the soil more consistent,they were not detected in the presence of chlorite,mainly illite,kaolinite,mica,mixed-layer minerals illite,montmorillonite,vermiculite and quartz.Ziliujing stone bones earth,stone bones clip sand,sand,sand and a half dirt half,two mud,large mud clay mineral content in the soil more consistent,they were not detected in the presence of chlorite,mainly illite,kaolinite,mica,smectite mixed-layer minerals,smectite,venniculite and quartz.Illite,kaolinite,mica,smectite mixed-layer minerals,these types of vermiculite and quartz mineral content in the soil and stable existence,smectite and chlorite are only found in the part of the soil samples.The presence or absence of smectite and chlorite see the law,which is the process of developing and soil of some factors,pending further study.(2)In purple soil illite content in the range of 29.4%?52.1%,smectite content in the range of 0 to 8.4%,mixed-layer illite mineral content of 7.7%?24.9%kaolinite content in the range of 6.6%-19.2%vermiculite/chlorite(1.4nm transitional mineral)content in the range of 3.4%?22.4%,chlorite content is extremely low,most of the samples were not detected,Mica content in the range of 11.5%?22.4%.In these types of major minerals in the soil,from the average for the overall content of descending order of illite(41.2%),mica(17.2%),mixed-layer illite minerals(14.5%),kaolinite(11.9%),vermiculite/chlorite(10.9%),montmorillonite(3.3%),chlorite(1.0%).This reflects the basic structure of the mineral soil in Chongqing purple soil to some extent.(3)Contrast layered silicate minerals in purple rocks and soil layered silicate minerals can be drawn,purple rock developmental process for the purple soil,vermiculite/chlorite is not much change in the content,to maintain a certain balance.Mica,kaolinite content was significantly reduced,and illite,illite and smectite mixed-layer minerals have a very significant increase.Can be considered in the development of purple rocks purple soil in the process,mica,kaolinite eventually transformed into illite,illite and smectite mixed-layer minerals accumulate in the soil(4)Illite,smectite mixed-layer minerals,kaolinite,mica content in all purple soil parent materials are more and smaller differences,vermiculite/chlorite large differences in the content of each parent material.(5)The relative content of illite and kaolinite in purple soil showing a negative correlation between the Penglaizhen,Shaximiao,Suining Group Purple soil was especially evident.(6)With the gradual deepening degree of soil development,changes in the relative content of mineral soils did not find a certain regularity,which shows the process of purple soil development,changes in the external physical and chemical conditions of the complex,as well as by a number of factors of soil minerals the impact of the law which needs further study.(7)Illite crystallinity of Penglaizhen and Shaximiao purple soil with the deepening of soil development,bones from stone clay soil to a large increase in a process first and then decreased,reflecting the soil into a hot and humid environment-low drying-hot and humid in the change process.Suining group and purple soil Ziliujing illite crystallinity degree of soil development with the deepening of the soil from the stone to the big mud bones showing a growing trend,reflecting the external environment into the soil during the dry environment from low to high temperature and humidity changing environment.
