Drying is an important application technology in the life and production of human society. Agricultural products, industrial products and pharmaceuticals etc many fields which require the participation of the drying process, drying is an important technology in the field of food and medicine, drying is to determine the product quality is an important operation.Through the simulation of the drying process of drying were studied and analyzed, which can more accurately grasp the basic principle of drying, to in-depth study of physical phenomena in production, testing is difficult to directly observed. Through the simulation, we can save the research time and cost. and provide the theoretical basis and guidance for the research of drying technology. Recently the simulation study based on three-dimensional solid model is an international research focus in dying study field. In this paper. the rice kernel is chosen as the drying object. The simulation of hot air drying based on three-dimensional solid model is processedThis paper uses the method of SolidWorks modeling, using software processing. sketch feature modeling and other functions, to complete the rice grains contour rendering, entity reconstruction and characteristic improvement work, establish three-dimensional model of the rice grains has substantive features.This paper established a three-dimensional mathematical model for heat and mass transfer in rice kernel drying, thermal conductivity, diffusion coefficient and other parameters are a function of the temperature distribution in paddy water. Through the COMSOL Multiphysics software to complete the simulation process of heat and mass transfer of rice during drying, a variation of the rice grains with internal temperature field, humidity field,heat of quality of rice drying process transfer mechanism is analyzed. By comparing the simulation results with the experimental results, it is proved that the 3D solid model of hot air drying of rice grain has good practicability.The three dimensional drying model is used to simulate the influences of drying parameters while the drying conditions, hot air temperature, dry material initial moisture content and air speed are changed respectively. The influences of changing drying conditions are discussed . The effects of drying conditions on the drying process were described.
