In this paper,air suction seed metering device and four kinds of common crops seeds were studied,such as,mung bean,watermelon,sunflower and oil sunflower.Firstly,the physical characteristics of four kinds of seeds(size,1000 grain quality,density,sliding friction angle,etc.)parameters were measured,and the statistical results of statistical analysis,on this basis,according to the length of the size of each type of seed will be grouped.Secondly,according to the previous group,the aerodynamic characteristics(floating speed and floating coefficient)of each type of seeds were tested and tested,and the results were statistically analyzed.Then the seeds were graded according to their different gas characteristics.Finally,the critical vacuum degree of the seeds with different aerodynamic characteristics under no vibration and vibration(35Hz,50Hz,70Hz)was studied respectively to explore the relationship between seed aerodynamic characteristics and seed metering performance of air suction metering device.The results show that:Under the different aerodynamic characteristics of the same kind of seeds,the difference of the critical vacuum between the three kinds of rapping conditions is small when there is no vibration,the maximum difference is only 0.2kPa.However,after applying the vibration conditions of the different frequency to the air suction seed metering device.The critical vacuum degree of the same kind of seed under the same air force characteristic increases sharply,and with the increase of frequency,the critical vacuum degree increases gradually.No matter applying vibration or not,with a kind of condition,the seeds of a critical vacuum degree with increasing floating speed and become larger;the same aerodynamic conditions,with the increasing number of the seed suction,vacuum also increases critical adsorption.
