Investigation Of Invasive Plants In Qinhuangdao City

This paper mainly introduces the investigation of invasive alien plants in Qinhuangdao City from 2010 to 2016.The investigation results showed:(1)There are 22 families and 57 species of exotic invasive plants in Qinhuangdao City.Among them,aquatic plants have a total of 3 families and 3 species;terrestrial plants are 21 families and 54 species.In the analysis towards the country of origin,a majority of alien species come from America.Therefore,there is a strong need for strengthening the quarantine work of personnel and items from American countries.From the perspective of invasive ways,the analysis showed that most invasive plant species were introduced through intentional artificial introduction.During the introduction of exotic species,it also appeals to the relevant departments and personnel to enhance supervision.(2)The total area of Ambrosia artemisiifolia L.in Qinhuangdao City covers 132.1km2.From the distribution point of view,the whole Qinhuangdao City has been affected by A.artemisiifolia in a certain degree.Qinglong County has the lowest degree of occurrence,while its potential threat is great.Because of the mountainous terrain,once the A.artemisiifolia spread to large areas,it'll greatly increase difficulties in the removal work.In the analysis of habitat,the distribution areas mainly contain the roadside,ditches and woodland with occasional probability in farmland and orchard.Among these districts,Roadside area is the largest area invaded by Ambrosia artemisiifolia.As the Ambrosia artemisiifolia along the roadside has close contact with people,one of the main hazards of Ambrosia artemisiifolia will cause serious allergic reactions.Therefore,the priority in control work is to decrease the distribution of Ambrosia artemisiifolia in roadside.(3)In Qinhuangdao City,Cenchrus pauciflorus covers a total area of 20hm2.The concentrated distribution area locates in Emerald Island of Changli County at a rapid speed in recent years.During the widespread and dissemination,it has formed a species dominance.Although the invasion areas are not very large and the distribution range is not very wide,it contains huge potential harm.With strong adaptability to environment and great challenge in removal,Cenchrus pauciflorus can successfully breed in sandy land.Sandy lands in Qinhuangdao mainly distribute along the beach,where the vegetation is scarce and the biodiversity is low.Once the invasion of invasive plants breaks out,it will cause irreversible damages to the whole ecosystem,bringing huge losses to the tourism industry of Qinhuangdao.This paper aims to provide a reliable reference for the prevention and control of alien invasive plants in Qinhuangdao area.
