Classical swine fever(CSF),Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome(PRRS),and Pseudorabies(PR)are the major epidemic diseases in pig industry, which have caused huge economic losses in China. The main measures to prevent and control these diseases are vaccination. In order to understand the effects of vaccines of these viruses in pigs in Jiangxi province, the Enzyme linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA)were used to detect the antibodies against CSF virus(CSFV),PRRS virus(PRRSV),and PR virus(PRV)in 5,736 sera of pigs sampled from 231 premises from 2014 to 2016.The results showed that the average positive rates of antibodies against CSFV,PRRSV,PRV g B and PRV g E from 2014 to 2016 were 78.50%,80.82%,85.72% and19.55%,respectively.The positive rates of antibodies against CSFV from 2016 to 2016 were 71.68%,78.45% and 82.53%,and 76.68%,81.25% and 84.34% for PRRSV,80.39%,85.35% and 89.92% for PRV g B,and 8.49%,21.97% and 24.15% for PRV g E,respectively.Based on these results,we knew that all of the positive rates of the antibodies against these three viruses were met the criteria of the national standards requested for the mandatorily immunized vaccines. The positive rates of antibodies against CSFV,PRRSV and PRV g B showed an increasing trend from 2014 to 2016.Unfortunately,the positive rates of PRV g E,which indicated the infection of wild types of PRV also showed an increasing trend. There was no obvious change patterns observed in the positive rates on monthly from2014 to 2016 in all of the antibodies against the three viruses. The positive rates of antibodies among pigs with different ages have big differences. From 2014 to 2016,the positive rates of antibodies of CSFV in sows, suckling piglets, nursing piglets and finishing pigs were 80.01%,72.37%,74.32% and 66.39%,respectively;the positive rates of PRRSV were 8.66%,73.92%,60.54% and 84.24%,respectively;the positive rates of PRV g B were90.91%,79.19%,73.05% and 82.17%,respectively;and the positive rates of PRV g E were11.87%,12.84%,27.08% and 41.10%,respectively.The results showed that antibodies against CSFV,PRRSV and PRV in sows met the requirements of the national standard on antibody requested on mandatorily immunized vaccines.however, the positive rates of PRRSV of some nursing and suckling piglets hadn’t reached that standard, and the positive rates of antibodies against CSFV in 2014 and2015 in finishing pigs were also hadn’t got up to that standard. We also noticed that the positive rates of antibodies against wild types of PRV(PRV g E)were increased from 2014 to 2016 in all of these pig herds tested, and finishing pigs were especially in a severe infection situation, with a average positive rate of 40%.In this study,we have systematically investigated the antibody levels against PRRSV,CSFV and PRV(g B and g E)in pigs in Jiangxi province from 2014 to 2016.The results displayed could reflect the average levels of vaccine antibodies in pigs in Jiangxi, and provide an experimental basis for vaccine immunization, development of immunization programs and antibody surveillance.
