Forest stock volume is the summation of existing stem volume in a certain area of forests.They are the important information of people living environment,planning production energy forestry protection,disaster prevention.The research of volume has become a hot issue.With the development of 3S technology and increasingly sophisticated spatial resolution,the remote sensing image texture information has become increasingly diverse.High spatial resolution texture information of forest vegetation information is very sensitive.When estimating the amount of accumulation,adding texture features has great potential enhancing the accuracy of stock volume estimation.With the 3S integrated technology,based on the GF-1?GF-2 in different parts with different resolution remote sensing image data,using gray co-occurrence matrix to extract texture features of remote sensing image experimental plots,combining with GIS information and remote sensing information in testing areas to construct volume estimation model,and the efficiency and precision can be improved,verifying the texture information applied to precision can effectively improve the volume model estimation precision.Finally we get the following conclusion:(1)The texture combined with remote sensing and GIS factors can effectively improve the precision results of forest volume accuracy,also in other areas' forests.(2)Adding texture factor to estimate the volume model can improve the precision results accuracynevertheless remote sensing images in different resolution.(3)The size of the sliding window should be set to and fixed unit(sample)size closely to increasing the accuracy of the precision requirements when we extract the texture features.(4)Eight kinds of texture feature selected for 5 classes is still able to improve its accuracy.
