Fenpropathrin is a kind of pyrethroid pesticide which plays a relativelystable role in the air and light,it is widely used in pests and pest mite control of apple, peach, chestnut trees. In recent years, with the widespread use of pyrethroid pesticides,it has presented a increasingly situation about the residue of fenpropathrin in the water,it is not only serious threat to aquatic organisms, but also an indirect threat to human health. This study was used microscopic method and enzyme detection method to investigate the acute toxicity effect, the toxic effects of the gill and liver tissue, vitellogenin content. The liver enzyme activity effect and micronucleus effect of erythrocytes of fenpropathrin on loach. The main results are as follows:1.The acute toxic effects of fenpropathrin on loachFenpropathrin on loach 24,48,72,96 h of LC50 were 85.51?49.98?20.99?17.22?g·L-1,SC was 4.82 ?g·L-1.2.The toxic effects of the liver and gill tissue of fenpropathrin stress on loachWhen the loach were in the 3.51 ?g·L-1 fenpropathrin treatment group for 14 days, the liver cells of loach were bubbled and tissue space became larger. When exposed for28 d,the gap of the liver cells of loach were enlarged and vacuolization occurred. The gill of loach were curl and enlarged, even would appear the phenomenon of necrotic and shedding.3.The influnce of the vitellogenin content of fenpropathrin on loachWhich indicated that the effect of estrogen increased with the increase of mass concentration and exposure time. With the increase of mass concentration of fenpropathrin,VTG levels showed a trend of rising.Under the same concentration, thelevel of VTG was gradually increased with the prolongation of exposure time.4.The liver enzyme activity effect of fenpropathrin on loachThe results showed, compared with the control group, the activities of antioxidant enzymes and transaminase were increased and then decreased, and the enzyme activities of each treatment group reached the maximum at 7 d or 14 d,with the extension of treatment time, the enzyme activity was gradually decreased, which showed a strong time effect relationship. The same processing time, with the increase of treatment concentration, the activity of antioxidant enzyme and transaminase increased significantly.Fenpropathrin had a time and concentration-effect relationship on the content of liver enzyme activity of loach.5.The micronucleus effect of erythrocytes of fenpropathrin on loachCompared with the control group, the micronucleus rate of erythrocyte in loach were significantly increased by exposure 7 d to fenpropathrin.Different concentrations fenpropathrin in the treatment group, loach cell micronucleus rate with the extension of exposure time?7,14,21,28 d?were gradually rising trend, and it indicated that fenpropathrin had genetic toxicity to loach, the toxicity increased with the increasing of the concentration of fenpropathrin and the prolongation of the time.
