In this paper, based on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Naqu Region’s LAIRG-BNU da-ta and GLDAS data from January 2010 to December 2010, the Common Land Model(CoLM) are used to execute the numerical simulation of single point. Five key parameters in the CoLM are choosed to optimizing the results. The CoLM’s parameter optimization problem in the Naqu Region are investigated by comparing the simulated values and the observed values of the shallow soil moisture. Experimental results show that:Based on the LAIRG-BNU data, the effect of optimizing the soil saturated hydraulic conductivity is the best when single parameter is optimized. When two parameters are optimized, the most significant is optimizing the minimum soil capillary potential and the soil porosity. With the GLDAS data, the optimization of the "b" parameter is the best when single parameter is optimized. When two parameters are optimized, the most significant is optimizing the soil saturated hydraulic conductivity and the soil porosity. Both data show that the effect of the five parameters is better than that of single parameter and two parameters optimization. When the soil saturated hydraulic conductivity is in the order of 10-3 and the soil porosity is in the vicinity of 5.0 and the value of "b" parameter is close to 7.5, the results of the model simulates are closer to the observed values. In this paper, combination of the CNOP method and two different data are used to study the parameter optimization problem of CoLM model, which provides the guiding for the model in this region.
