This study is conducted to research what influence do the different environment,fertilization and illumination exert on the photosynthetic traits of radix pseudostellariae so as to find out the favorable condition for the cultivation of it.And the results are as follow.1.The diurnal variation of photosynthetic rate of radix pseudostellariae is unimodal type.It shows that Gs and Pn start to rise in the morning and reach their crest value at 11:30am while Tr reaches it crest value at 14:30pm and begins to decline since then.However,Ci starts to decline in the morning and reaches its minimum value at 14:30pm then begins to rise.2.The experiment on the photosynthetic traits of radix pseudostellariae has been conducted in Kaili city,Guiyang city and Liupanshui city respectively in Guizhou province.And the chlorophyll content of radix pseudostellariae's leave in Kaili city is lower than that in Guiyang city while that in Liupanshui city is the highest of all.It shows that the difference of net photosynthetic rate in these three cities is not distinct at the early flowering stage,jointing stage and vigorously growing stag while the net photosynthetic rate is the highest among the three cities at sprout tumble stage.Results also demonstrate that the light saturation point and CO2 saturation point in Luipanshui city are higher than that in Kaili city and Guiyang city while the light compensation point and CO2 compensation point are lower than that in the other two cities.It also unveils that radix pseudostellariae ‘s indexes as Fo,Fm,Fv/Fm,Fv'/Fm'qP,NPQ,yield and ETR in Liupanshui city are higher than that in the other two cities.3.Results also show how does different fertilizer influence the chlorophyll content and the ranking is nitrogenous fertilizer ? organic fertilizer> phosphaticfertilizer>potash fertilizer.While the ranking is nitrogenous fertilizer ? phosphatic fertilizer? organic fertilizer? potash fertilizer when it comes to the influence on net photosynthetic rate.Nitrogenous fertilizer and phosphatic fertilizer have a strong influence on light saturation point while light compensation point is most effected by organic fertilizer and phosphatic fertilizer.It ends with the result that fertilization fails to exert influence on the maximum net photosynthetic rate when the light saturation is at its strongest point.It shows that phosohatic fertilizer has a strong influence on apparent quantum yield and respiratory rate and nitrogenous fertilizer and phosphatic fertilizer exert a strong influence on CO2 while organic fertilizer and potash fertilizer influence the chlorophyll fluorescence parameter the most.4.Result demonstrates that shade is able to increase chlorophyll content of the radix pseudostellariae's leaves.The chlorophyll content reaches its highest value when the light transparence is at 47% while it is the most ideal condition for the increase of net photosynthetic rate when the light transparence is at 68%.It also says that the light response,the CO2 response and the chlorophyll fluorescence response are the most outstanding when the light transparence is at 68%.
