The Monochamus alternates is a trunkborer-insect that lives in pinewood in sourth China.It can carry Bursaphelenchus xylophilus and plays key effect in infection cycle of B.xylophilus;Terpenoid is one of the most important induced defense substances that could be greatly generated after pest damaged and avoid the juiry directly.It also attracts the natural enemies to prey or parasitize the pest.This study examined the ?-pinene,the ?-pinene,the myrcene and the ocimene influence on Monochamus alternates and B.xylophilus as well as the change of protective enzymes in M.alternates fed with artificial diet that contains terpenoid compands.Try to reveal how the M.alternates adapts the environment with terpenoids substance and provide data for further studies.The main results were as follows:Measuring the weight changes,feather time,ratio of pupa and feather of M alternatus larve in 3th instar and 4th instar fed with terpenoids-added artificial diet.Results showed that in the treatment of the 4th instar larvae of M alternatus,the weight loss was slow,but its pupation ratio as a whole to maintain a relatively stable state.In the measure of the emergence ratio of the 4th instar larvae of M.alternatus,the emergence ratio of ?-pinene,?-pinene and 0.1 mg/g in the myrcene treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group.The results showed that the larvae of M.alternatus were significantly lower than that of the control,and the larvae of M.alternatus larvae were significantly reduced,and the pupation ratio and emergence rate of M.alternatus were significantly lower than that of the control group.In the 3th instar larvae,the weight of M.alternatus which are feeding with artificial diet of 4 kinds terpene in high concentration increase in every age.There was no significant difference compared with control.We also found that there were no difference in the 4 treatment groups.The pupae ratio and eclosion ratio of the second instar larvae treated with terpenoids were significantly lower than those of the control.While the trend of body weight of 4-instar M.alternatus larvae was negatively correlated in the overall,and decreased slowly with the increase of age,both of which were the opposite results in the control group.Further analysis showed that 0.075mg/g and 0.15mg/g ?-pinene treatment group significantly affected the body weight of the 4th instar larvae of M.alternatus.With the way of immersion and use tampons for biochemical measuring to affect B.Xylophilus,Results showed that 25? L,50? L and 100?L ?-pinene and 100? L myrcene has a significant impact on survival of B.xylophilus,the degree of the influence is 84.5 %,88.6 %,79.3%,82.7%,the survival ratio in different treatment between each other decline slightly,but does not have very obvious difference,but compare with contrast,all have obvious difference.The different concentration of ?-pinene treatment and 100 ?L ?-pinene has significant influence on the reproduction of B.xylophilus,results is 75.5%,74.8%,57.8% and 64.0 %,significantly lower than the contrast,and other treatment does not have difference significant.Make the M.Alternates feed the artificial diet which add the ?-pinene,?-pinene and myrcene.Then after 12 h,24h,48 h and 72 h,dissect the M.Alternates,then acquire the intestinal tract,then measure the protective enzyme activities of the intestinal tract.In short,results showed that ?-pinene,?-pinene and myrcene apparently caused significant changes,the value of the catalase(CAT)and the value of the superoxide dismutase(SOD)increase,but the value of the peroxidase(POD)increase firstly and then decrease.To be specific,the numerical value of superoxide dismutase(SOD)of the ?-pinene treatment is from 372.39 to 1038.67,and the ?-pinene treatment is from 406.18 to 627.27,and the myrcene treatment is from 463.29 to 676.09;The numerical value of catalase(CAT)of the ?-pinene treatment is from 13.69 to 32.26,the ?-pinene treatment is from 13.36 to 52.05,the myrcene treatment is from 32.82 to 73.4;The numerical value of peroxidase(POD)of the ?-pinene treatment is from 4.44 to 8.07,and decrease to 2.86;the ?-pinene treatment is from 3.95 to 6.68,and decrease to 4.01,the myrcene treatment is from 5.47 to 8.90,and decrease to 6.46.
