Powdery mildew,caused by Blumeria graminis f.sp.tritici?Bgt?,is one of the devastating diseases in most wheat-growing areas worldwide.The varieties with resistance allele?s?has been proved to be the most economical,safe and effective way for controlling the disease.Diversification of resistance sources and development of resistance germplasm have been suggested as a remedy of the problem.In this study,common wheat lines N0308 and N0324,originated from the progeny of the cross between common wheat?Triticum aestivum?and wild emmer?T.dicoccoides?as materials,resistance screening,genetic analysis and aneuploid analysis were used to study the genes in the N0308 and N0324.The results are described as follows:1.Common wheat lines N0308 and N0324 derived from the progeny of the cross between wild emmer accession G25 and common wheat cv.Shaan 253,and the cross between wild emmer accession 5055 and common wheat cv.Shaan 253,respectively.Inoculated with Bgt race E09 at the seedling stage and mixed Bgt from Shaanxi at the adult stage,the identification results showed that N0308,N0324,G25 and 5055 were highly resistant or immune to Bgt,and Shaan 253 highly suscetiple to that.The results indicated that wild emmer accessions G25 and 5055 were resistant to Bgt,and their resistance were transferred to common wheat lines N0308 and N0324,respectively.2.The genetic analysis of powdery mildew resitance of N0308 was conducted by inoculated with Bgt race E09 at the seedling stage.The F1 progeny of N0308 and the highly susceptible common wheat cultivars Shaanyou 225,Shaan 160 and Abbondanza were highly resistant to Bgt,while the ratio of the resistant and susceptible plants in F2 progeny fitted the expected 3 to 1.All of F1 progeny between N0308 and 21 highly susceptible common wheat nullisomic?monosomic?lines were highly resistant to Bgt race E09.The ratio of the resistant and susceptible F2 individuals from the cross between Abbondanza 5BM and N0308 deviated from the expected 3 to 1,whlie that of the resistant and susceptible F2 individuals of the other20 crosses fitted the expected 3 to 1.The results indicated that the powdery mildew resistance of N0308 was controlled by a single dominant gene located on wheat chromosome 5B.3.The genetic analysis of powdery mildew resitance of N0324 was done by inoculated with Bgt race E09 at the seedling stage.The F1 progeny of N0324 and the highly susceptible common wheat cultivars Shaanyou 225,Shaan 160 and Abbondanza were highly susceptible to Bgt,while the ratio of the resistant and susceptible plants in F2 progeny fitted the expected1 to 3.All of F1 progeny between N0324 and 21 highly susceptible common wheat nullisomic?monosomic?lines were highly susceptible to Bgt race E09.The ratio of the resistant and susceptible F2 individuals from the cross between Abbondanza 2BM and N0324 deviated from the expected 1 to 3,whlie that of the resistant and susceptible F2 individuals of the other20 crosses fitted the expected 1 to 3.The results indicated that the powdery mildew resistance of N0324 was controlled by a single recessive gene located on wheat chromosome 2B.
