This paper focuses on the application of photogrammetry in forestry survey and wood scale which is based on the theory of ground photogrammetry.It has developed the terrestrial photogrammetry data processing platform and mobile platform.The simplest Collinear equation has been established between the image point and the object point.Using the C # language to programming the terrestrial photogrammetric processing platform on the Microsoft Visual Studio 2013.The platform includes single image solution,image pair,coordinate conversion,camera calibration and wood scale module.The wood module using EmguCV library to implementation and the interface design also cited the DevExpress,Ribbon.It also develop the mobile terminal software by Android Studio.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1,According to China's forest resources survey and photogrammetry research quo,it find a solution to the existing forest resources survey of the program,and design experiments to verify.On the basis of the experiment on the software needs analysis.2,Use of lasers for photogrammetry experiments and achieved good results,it can provide a new direction of development for the forestry survey and even photogrammetry.The use of CCD combination of the total station for photography,recording the moment outside the photographic elements,the application of three-dimensional image of the intersection of the algorithm to solve the three-dimensional coordinates,to restore the three-dimensional information of the object.3,Use of mobile phones,range finder,laser,RTK and other equipment to Designed the ground continuous photography for sample observation program.Applying the photogrammetric adjustment algorithm to calculate the relative azimuth and absolute azimuth elements.4,The computer vision algorithm and photogrammetry method combined with the wood scale work.The algorithm divides the wood end face by gray,binarization,image corroding,connected domain analysis,marker watershed and so on,and then the wood volume is obtained according to the volume calculation model.Experiments show that it is practicable to use the ground photogrammetry method for forestry investigation.The average relative error of DBH was 2.92%,and the average relative error of tree height was 4.66% by Ground measurement.The average relative error of the DBH in the laser scan mode was 3.15%.The mean error of the DBH was 2.85% when the baseline length was 60 cm and the baseline error was 2.46% when the baseline length was 100 cm.The average error of the DBH of any photography method was 1.27%.The result of the wood scale was 98.2% compared with the artificial result.The use of ground photogrammetry methods and instruments can effectively solve the old problems of the existing forest investigation equipment,it can effectively improve the efficiency of the field,with the ground photogrammetry software platform to achieve the integration of internal and external forms.
