Analysisand Investigationof Woody Plant Resourcesin Yeliguan Forest Region

Forest resources were the basis for sustainable forestry development.Grasping the structure and characteristics of forest resources was of great significance for the scientific and rational management of forest resources and realizing the sustainable development of forestry.Forest resources survey was an important part of forest resources monitoring,and it was a basic technical work for obtaining forest resources information and conducting various forestry analysis and decision-making.The purpose was to find out the quantity and quality of forest resources and their changing conditions and laws,objectively reflect the nature,economy,and social conditions of forest growth,provide guidance for forestry production,and realize the scientific management,rational management,and sustainable development of forest resources.The research chose Yeliguan forest area as the study subject and researched the status of forest resourcesin the forest areain order to grasp the basic data and problems of the forest resources.By theresearch,the conclusions were as follows:(1)Status of land use in Yeliguan Forest Area:The total land area is 79,400 hm~2,among which the forest land area is 6,7322.6 hm~2,accounting for 84.97%of the total land area,and the non-forest land area is 1,2077.4 hm~2,accounting for 15.21%of the total land area.As for the ownership of land,the state-owned land is 72360.5 hm~2,accounting for 91.13%of the total land area,and the collective 7039.5 hm~2,accounting for 8.87%.(2)Status of forest resources in Yeliguan Forest Area:The forest coverage rate in forest areas is 27.99%.A total of 2,410,680 m~3 of standing timber total stock,including 2,390,852 m~3 of woodland stock,4391 m~3 of woodland,4111 m~3 of trees,and 5106 m~3 of scattered wood stock.(3)There were various types of vegetation communities in forest areas,and there are rich and complex plant diversity.The main arborous species are Picea asperata,Abies fabri,Larix gmelinii,Sabina,Betula platyphylla,Betula albosinensis,Quercus glauca.,Populus davidiana,etc.The forest types include coniferous forest,broad-leaved forest,coniferous mixed forest and theropencedrymion.The coniferous forest was dominated by natural Picea asperata forests,followed by Abies fabri forests?Larix gmelinii forests.The main types of broad-leaved forest were birch,poplars and oak.In the mixed forest of trees,the theropencedrymion was large.(4)The shrubs in the forest areas were flourishing.The main tree species include Salix rehderiana,Rhododendron simisii,Potentilla fruticosa,Potentilla glabra,Spiraea salicifolia,Cotoneaster.Sorbaria sorbifolia,Caragana Korshinskii and Rosa multiflora,etc.The total area of shrubs was 174,900 hm~2,which the national special stipulated area was 423.9 hm~2,other shrubs was 17066.1hm~2.The sparsity area was 10666.9hm~2,Medium coverage area was 10666.9hm~2,Density area was17066.1hm~2.
