Atherosclerosis is one of the common vascular lesions which is the main causes of coronary heart disease and ischemic stroke, it could leads to serious cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events. The inflammatory? lipid reaction and angiotensin ? plays an important role in the development of atherosclerosis. Angiotensin receptor blocker can be effective against atherosclerosis. Irbesartan,losartan, telmisartan and valsartan can reduce the release of inflammatory factor, stable atherosclerotic plaque, play a role of resistance to the AS effectively. But according to the current study, the above four drugs influence on blood lipid have certain differences.
