Data Mining Based On Modern Literature Research On The Distribution Characteristics Of Hand, Foot And Mouth Disease Syndromes,Syndrome Elements And The Relationship Between Common Syndromes And Symptoms

Objective:Through retrospective analysis of latest 20 years modern literature related to hand- foot-mouth disease, to explore the regularity of the common syndromes, and syndrome elements and the relationship between common syndrome and corresponding symptoms / signs, so as to provide the basis for completing the standardization of syndrome differentiation.Methods:1.Collect the modern literature related to hand- foot-mouth disease of the latest 20 years by electronic search and screen out the qualified ones. 2.Make a standard for the name of syndromes and symptom which appear in the literature.3.Use the Epi Data3.0 software to establish the date base of syndrome and symptoms of hand- foot- mouth disease and input data. 4.Split the standard syndrome names into disease-location syndrome elements and disease-nature syndrome elements. 5.Use SPSS17.0 software analyze the frequency of symptoms, syndrome and syndrome elements, and use two classification Logistic regression analysis to analyze the symptoms and signs of common syndromes..Results:53 qualified literature were filtered from 826 modern literature for this study.The statistic results are as follows:1.The distribution of common symptoms(1)In the literature, appear 100 kinds of hand, foot-and-mouth disease symptoms / signs include general symptoms / signs, tongue manifestations and pulse manifestations.There are 67 types of general symptoms / signs, 15 tongue manifestations and 18 pulse manifestations.The higher frequency of occurrence are:?The general symptoms / signs: rash, fever, anorexia, constipation, cough etc;?The tongue manifestations:yellow fur, greasy fur, red tongue etc;?The pulse manifestations:rapid pulse,floating pulse, fingerprint purple etc;(2)The symptoms / signs distribution of common hand-foot-mouth disease and severe hand-foot-mouth disease are as follows:?Common hand-foot-mouth disease: rash, fever, anorexia, cough,greasy fur, yellow fur, red tongue,rapid pulse,fingerprint purple etc;?Severe hand-foot-mouth disease: rash, high fever, irritable, limb tremble, vomiting,yellow fur, deep red tongue, greasy fur, pulse number, fingerprint purple, etc.2.The common syndrome of hand- foot-mouth disease:(1)In 32 syndrome types, the top 3 of frequency are syndrome of damp heat of lung and spleen, syndrome of damp heat, syndrome of evil invading lung.(2)The syndrome distribution of common hand-foot-mouth disease and severe hand-foot-mouth disease are as follows:?Common hand-foot-mouth disease: the top 3 of frequency are syndrome of damp heat of lung and spleen, syndrome of damp heat, syndrome of evil invading lung.?Severe hand-foot-mouth disease: the top 3 of frequency are syndrome of dynamic wind poison, syndrome of flaring heat in qifen and yingfen, heat toxin syndrome.3.The regularity of common syndrome elementsThere are 21 syndrome elements in hand-foot-mouth disease, in which 10 are disease-location syndrome elements and 11 are disease-nature syndrome elements. The frequency over 10% of disease-location syndrome elements are lung, spleen and weifen.The frequency over 10% of disease-nature syndrome elements are damp heat,heat.There are 13 syndrome elements in common hand-foot-mouth disease, in which 7are disease-location syndrome elements and 6 are disease-nature syndrome elements.The frequency over 10% of disease-location syndrome elements are lung, spleen and weifen. The frequency over 10% of disease-nature syndrome elements are damp heat,heat.There are 17 syndrome elements in severe hand-foot-mouth disease, in which 9 are disease-location syndrome elements and 8 are disease-nature syndrome elements. The frequency over 10% of disease-location syndrome elements are heart, liver qifen and yingfen. The frequency over 10% of disease-nature syndrome elements are heat endogenous wind and damp heat.4.The relationship between common syndrome and corresponding symptoms / signs(1)Frequency analysis of corresponding symptoms / signs in common syndromeRegard the the frequency of largest 3 kinds of syndromes as the common syndromes, regard the frequency of the top 10 symptoms / signs as the common symptoms / signs of corresponding syndrome.The frequency distribution see article.(2)Logistic regression analysis of common syndrome and corresponding symptoms /signsTry to find out which symptoms / signs have a higher contribution to common syndrome by binary logistic regression analysis(specific details, see article)Conclusions:1.The common syndrome types of hand- foot-mouth disease are syndrome of damp heat of lung and spleen, syndrome of damp heat, syndrome of evil invading lung.2.The common disease-location syndrome elements of hand- foot-mouth disease are lung, spleen and weifen;the common disease-nature syndrome elements are damp heat,heat.3.In the modern literature, there is a confusion in using diagnostic criteria and TCM diagnosis classification criteria of hand-foot-mouth disease.4.The nonstandard terminology of syndrome and symptoms / signs is widely existed in the modern literature.5.The syndrome of hand-foot-mouth disease is complicated, but we can research the syndrome elements, so that provide the basis for completing the standardization of syndrome differentiation.6.Frequency analysis and logistic regression analysis results conform to the characteristics of hand-foot-mouth disease syndrome.
