Objective: Located in front of the oral,incisor's main function is to cut off food,also closely related to pronunciation and set off for the facial appearance.In the event of dental trauma,Oral function,and aesthetics will be effected,Sometime even affect all the body.For young people,its wide range of activities,and lack of awareness of self-protection,making it a high risk of dental trauma.To survey the prevalence of TDI in Shijiazhuang and study the effect of it.Having a preliminary understanding of prevalence and distribution of TDI in Shijiazhuang,and to study the pathogenic of TDI in adolescent of Shijiazhuang,and the effect of it.so as to provide a reliable scientific basis for the effective prevention and treatment of dental trauma in adolescent.Strengthening widespread the relevant knowledge and then take appropriate protective measures to safeguard the physical and mental health and adolescent oral health.Methods: To collect 34342 students from that who getting checkups in 2015.Bite types and dental injuries in all the students were investigated.The overall prevalence of dental trauma as well as the prevalence in different age,sex and type of bite were collected.Classification criteria of bite type is Angle's classification and Individual normal occlusion.Test-takers survey oral examination in natural light by using disposable mouth mirror,medical cotton swabs,gloves,etc.Then fill out the survey,and organize data.Using demographic questionnaire and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale questionnaire to test 3300 junior high school students that randomly selected from 34342 subjects.Finally the testers collected and analyzed the effective questionnaires and then calculated each test's scores.Statistic the prevalence of anxiety in patients with dental trauma or not.All data were processed by using the statistical software.Statistical analysis by using various multiple comparisons between the present rate and chi-square test tables.If the P-value was smaller than 0.05,they were considered statistically significant,The test level was ?= 0.05.Results:1 The incidence of TDI in different types of occlusionThere are a total of 1461 patients with dental trauma in 34342 students.The total prevalence rate is 4.25%.Class ? malocclusion patients with the highest incidence of dental trauma,a total of 963 cases,the incidence rate is about 9.56%.Individual normal occlusion has 34 students with dental trauma,the incidence rate is about 0.37%.Class ?malocclusion patients accounted for 402 cases,the incidence rate is about 3.22%.Class ? malocclusion patients accounted for 62 cases,the incidence rate is about 2.47%.The incidence of TDI in Class ?malocclusion patients compared with the other three types of malocclusion were significantly different(P <0.05).2 The incidence of TDI in boys and girlsPatients with dental trauma in boys was 965,accounted for 66.05% of the total number.While 496 in Girls,accounting for 33.95% of the total number,and sex ratio was about 2:1.The prevalence of TDI in boys was 5.35%,while in girls was 3.04%.The prevalence of dental trauma were significantly different between the two groups(P <0.05).3 Predilection site and age of TDIAccounted for 1381 maxillary central incisors,17 maxillary lateral incisors,and 63 mandibular incisors in 1461 patients with dental trauma.Dental trauma obviously occurs in maxillary central incisor.In addition,the predilection average age is 11 and 12 years old,the incidence of dental trauma is 5.04% and 6.03%.4 The prevalence of anxiety disorders in dental trauma or not.3300 questionnaires were distributed and recovered parts of 3088,excluding 116 valid questionnaires,and 2972 effective questionnaires.The effective rate is 90.06%.2972 valid questionnaires contains 357 patients with dental trauma,including 81 people with varying degrees of anxiety disorder,the anxiety disorder prevalence is about 22.68%.The rest of 2615 were students who has no dental trauma,including 451 students with varying degrees of anxiety,the prevalence of anxiety disorders was about 17.24%,there are significantly difference between dental trauma and non-trauma group(P <0.05).Conclusion:1 Class?malocclusion patients in Shijiazhuang with the highest incidence of maxillary anterior tooth trauma,the incidence was 9.56%.2 The incidence of TDI is different from boys and girls in Shijiazhuang.3 Predilection site of anterior teeth injury is maxillary central incisor,and teenagers in 11 years and 12 years suffered more TDI.4 Dental trauma may be a risk factor of adolescent's anxiety.
