Objective: This study was intended to know epidemiological status of the Mental Health,health behaviors,lifestyle and hypertension of children and adolescents in Wuhu,and to explore the relationship between mental health,health risk behavior,lifestyle and hypertension.In order to prevente the incidence of hypertension,such as improving the level of psychological,education and lifestyle.Methods: The survey was conducted by convenient cluster sampling on children and adolescents from three middle schools in Wuhu.The investigation included: general information of children and adolescents,the General Health Questionnaire-28,(GHQ-28),Adolescent Health Risk Behavior scale.Results: In a survey of 2332 children and adolescents,a total of 794 subjects mental health status(physical symptoms,anxiety,insomnia,social dysfunction and severe depression)positive,which positive rate was 34.0%,the positive rate among boys and girls,respectively 34.5% and 33.5%,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Differences between different age groups of children and adolescents the general health was statistically significant(P<0.05),the general health positive rate of age group13 and 14 was significantly higher than other age groups;the general health of rural children and adolescents positive rate(37.3%)higher than in urban areas(32.6%).The detection rate of overweight and obesity was 10.1% and 5.2%,respectively,in children and adolescents of different ages,regions proportion of overweight and obesity was significantly(P<0.05),which gradually increased with age,and the proportion of overweight and obesity in urban children and adolescents were higher than the rural.The proportion of frequent high-calorie diets of health risk behavior and lifestyle was low(1.5%).The number of regular exercise physical activity accounted for 42.0%,0.8% had smoked in children and adolescents,3.9% had a drink.The number of regular smokers and drinkers distribution ratio of 0.3% and 0.7%.A total of 126 children and adolescents were isolated systolic hypertension(ISH)in a the survey of 2332.The prevalence of ISH was 5.4%.There were significant differences in ISH rate among different characters of regions,obesity type,the general health and smoking(P<0.05).A total of 125 children and adolescents were isolated diastolic hypertension(IDH),the prevalence of IDH was 5.4%.There were significant differences in IDH rate among different characters of regions,obesity type,the general health and smoking(P<0.05).There were 218 children and adolescents were hypertension(HTN).The prevalence of hypertension was 9.35%.There were significant differences in hypertension rate among different characters of regions,obesity type,the general health and smoking(P<0.05).However,there was no significant in different gender,age,physical activity,whether high-calorie diet,drinking(P?0.05).Under the condition of controlling for age,gender and region,the multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that ISH and IDH rate of children and adolescents were associated with smoking,overweight and obesity and positive of mental health.There was a correlation between the positive of mental health,smoking,overweight and obesity and high-calorie diets and hypertension in children and adolescents.Conclusion: The prevalence of hypertension was high in children and adolescents.We should pay more attention to protecting in society and family.The related departments and health agencies should collaborate to carry out health education of hypertension in children and adolescents,and make serious considerations on planning effective intervention measures such as monitor changes in blood pressure,enactment of the related laws to reduce incidences of children and adolescents hypertension.
