Objective: To understand the occupational stress, job burnout and job satisfaction of surgical medical staff, then analyze its impact on the quality of professional life. For the development of the medical staff health protection measures, provide a scientific basis for improve the quality of his professional life. Methods: By using questionnaires with random cluster method, 923 valid questionnaires of 1000 were backed from six affiliated hospitals of Xinjiang Medical University. This study were surveyed and analysised by questionnaires with the occupational stress, job burnout, job satisfaction and quality of life from retrospective investigation between one year. Results: 1. It found no statistical differences between doctors and nurses in three aspects of the ERI questionnaire, get paid and overload score(P>0.05), doctors and nurses with high pay higher percentage lower winner were higher than 70%; Doctor in a different night shift frequency had statistical differences in effort-reward imbalance(P<0.05), all the other aspects of no statistical difference. Different frequency of gender, marital status, night shift and smoking behavior of nurses paid statistical differences in effort-reward imbalance(all P<0.05). 2. In the job burnout of each dimension and the overall situation, found that statistical differences of job burnouts was been between in the comparison of the surgeons and nurses(P<0.05), and the doctor job burnout score was higher than nurses. Different marital status, educational background, age, smoking and drinking behavior of the surgeon, different gender,nationality, marital status, length of service of surgical nurses were statistical differences in job burnout of multiple aspects(all P<0.05). 3. Surgeons and nurses in every dimension of job satisfaction and overall situation comparison were statistical differences(P<0.05),length of different surgeons in general satisfaction had statistical differences in terms of satisfaction and overall satisfaction, at the same time, different frequency shift of the surgeons also had statistical differences in terms of satisfaction and overall satisfaction(P<0.05). Surgical nurses in different technical titles, smoking behavior were statistically significant in satisfaction and general satisfaction and overall satisfaction(P<0.05).4. The social function of the doctors and nurses in the quality of life were statistically significant(P<0.05); Married and unmarried doctor had statistical differences in terms of the role limitations due to physical health and general health perceptions(P<0.05), doctor in different degree and whether only child's were statistical differences in terms of physical functioning(P< 0.05), length of different doctors and smoking were statistical differences in terms of general health perceptions. Different degrees of surgical nurses had differences in social functioning(P < 0.05), there was statistical differences in physical health, role limitations due to emotional problems, and quality of life scores of drinking of non-drinking surgical nurses(P < 0.05). 5. Different degree of occupational stress of doctors were statistically significant in the general health perceptions, vitality, social functioning and mental health(P < 0.05), multiple dimensions of quality of life was in different statistical differences in the degree of surgical nurses occupational stress. 6.There were correlation between occupational stress and quality of life in Surgeons in doctors and nurses(P<0.05). The result of multiple linear regression analysis was that the surgeon doctor's quality of life influence factors were night shift frequency, emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and inner satisfaction and overload, the nurses' influence factors were drinking behavior, job burnout, overall satisfaction and pay. Conclusion: The higher occupational stress level in surgical medical staff, the stronger the sense of job burnout, the worse his professional life quality. So we must reduce surgical medical staff occupational stress and job burnout feeling, increase their job satisfaction, in order to improve the quality of medical staff's life, so as to improve the quality of medical services.
