Objective : Coronary heart disease as one of the clinical common cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, is becoming more and more attention by medical researchers. Along with the development of the related diagnosis and treatment technology, it has for many patients relieved pain, but there are still many problems needed to be solved. Drug therapy such as long-term antiplatelet aggregation, dilating coronary artery, regulating blood lipid, stablilizing plaquessuch etc, increases the economic burden of the patients at the same time also highlights the side effects of drugs. Prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease by combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine are getting more and more recognition of clinical workers because of its stable curative effect and high safety. This topic through the clinical observation of XiongBiFang explores its drug action mechanism and clinical application prospects for qi deficiency and blood stasis phlegm obstruction type of stable angina pectoris.Methods:60 patients in stable angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis phlegm obstruction type) diagnosis of the patients, randomly divided into two groups : the treatment group of 30 patients and the control group of 30 patients. The control group were received conventional western medicine, including aspirin 100 mg qd, atorvastatin calcium 20 mg qd, isosorbide mononitrate 20 mg bid. The treatment group were treated with the same routine western medicine treatment, combined with Chinese medicine-XiongBiFang, a dose daily, divided two times at moring and night decocted orally. Each group was treated for 4 weeks. Observe and record each index of two groups of patients before and after medication, including: daily TCM symptoms, condition of angina pectoris and electrocardiogram, blood lipid, hs-CRP, Hcy, ET, NO, TXA2, hemorrheology level and adverse reactions etc.Results:1 The total effective rate of improvement of daily TCM symptoms in the treatment group was 93.33%, compared with that of the control group 83.33%.2 Two groups of patients with angina attack frequency and duration were obviously improved. The total effective rate in the treatment group was 83.33%, and that of the control group was 76.67%. It shows that the curative effect in the treatment group was better, P<0.05.3 Both groups of the ischemic changes in electrocardiogram were improved. The total effective rate in the treatment group was 73.33%, while that of the control group was 60.00%. As for the improvement of the number of leads ST segment depression, T low-lying and T inversion, the treatment group were better than the control group, P<0.05.4 Comparison of two groups of patients before and after treatment in blood lipid, hs-CRP, Hcy, ET, NO, TXA2 and hemorrheology: TG, TC, LDL-C, hs-CRP, Hcy, ET, TXA2 and the level of hemorrheology decreased, while HDL-C and NO increased. At the same time, the TG, TC, LDL-C, hs-CRP, Hcy, ET, TXA2 and hemorrheology level of the treatment group decreased significantly; HDL-C and NO of the treatment group increased significantly, P<0.05.And there was significantly difference between the two groups, P<0.05.5 Before and after treatment, there were no abnormal changes between two groups of patients with blood, urine, stool, and liver and kidney functions.Conclusions:1 XiongBi Fang Plays a key role in qi strengthening, blood- flow activating and phlegm removing. It has definited curative effect on coronary heart disease with stable angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis phlegm obstruction type). It can significantly improve the patient's clinical symptoms, electrocardiogram, and the level of blood lipid, hs-CRP, Hcy, ET, NO, TXA2 and hemorrheology.2 Regulating blood lipid, protecting vascular endothelium and reducing inflammation reaction may be the important mechanisms for the treatment of the coronary heart disease with stable angina pectoris(qi deficiency and blood stasis phlegm obstruction type) with XiongBiFang.
