Under the background of the eastward transmission of western sciences,various new knowledge was introduced into China——an ancient country.After the Opium War,China was forced to open to the outside word.With the enter of numerous preachers,Chinese began to learn about Western medicine.In the progress of Meiji restoration,Japan finished its medical reform thoroughly by learning western advanced medicine.China began to learn from Japan including medicine after its lost in Sino-Japanese War.Chinese modernization was benefited from western preachers and learning from Japan.On the one hand,facing with an isolated diplomatic predicament,Japan tried to take over China rationally under the cover of it's slogan--saving a complete China from damage.Thus,it offered admission to Chinese students,who were allowed to learn medicine in Japan.In the meanwhile,it sent teachers to China to teach medicine,in order to promote the broadcast of western medicine there.On the other hand,Chinese government and some scholars realized the importance of the modernization of medicine,so they turned to learn from Japan:by sending students to learn it there,by translating western medical books which were originally translated by Japanese into Chinese,by building medical schools and hospitals similar to Japanese pattern.In a word,China started modernized revolution in medicine automatically.Although this study always accompanies with the shadow of war of aggression,Japan have a good influence on China's modernized revolution in medicine.At first,it promoted the modernization of Chinese medical education.What's more,it improved the broadcast of western medical knowledge,and upgraded the level of medical,thus improving it's people's physical quality.While,learning from Japan led to some problems,such as the arise of some pro-japanese forces,which posed a serious blow to Chinese traditional medicine.Taking the Late Qing Dynasty's learning medicine from Japan as study object,the Sino-Japan communication as the breakthrough point,this thesis studies the progress and influence of China's learning advanced medicine from Japan.
