The synchronization of oscillatory neuronal activity is a fundamental mechanism for combining related neuronal information. The synaptic coupling between neurons is plastic, and the effect of external stimulation is a pervasive feature of nervous system. So in this papper, The dynamic models of dynamic coupled phase oscillators have been proposed for the study of neuronal synchronization. We introduced time-varying order parameter to describe the level of synchronization and used Fokker-Planck equation to reduce the evolution of order parameter. Under the external stimulation, we studied the synchronization of oscillatory neuronal activity. When coupling strength is time-periodic,external stimulus for the synchronous activity of neural oscillators population depended on stimulus intensity and frequency, the external stimulation depended on degree of coupling between neurons. When coupling strength is changing over tine, based on Hebbian learning rule, high-frequency harmonic stimulus can produce the periodically synchronized oscillations in the population of neuronal oscillators. Stimulus intensity determines the degree of synchronization, the higher the stimulus frequency, the higher the frequency of synchronization oscillation, and the degree of synchronization increases with the increasing stimulus intensity. When the coupling coefficient is constant, the neuron clusters produce periodic oscillations, with the time advancing, the peak value is getting smaller and smaller, and the degree of synchronization is reduced to a kind of spontaneous activity of neurons. When the coupling strength changes with STDP mechanism, the degree of synchronization increased and produced learning effect.
