The Clinical Observation Of The Treatment Of Jiawei Buzhong Yiqi Decoction On Diarrhea-predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome(Weakness Of The Spleen And Stomach Type)

Purpose: This paper intends to observe the clinical efficacy of the treatment of Jiawei Buzhong Yiqi Decoction on Diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome by curative effect evaluation of disease, scientifically and objectively assess the efficacy and safety of the treatment, elaborate the functional mechanism in terms of theory, clinical research and related laboratory research and make first-phase preparations for further popularization and application in the future.Methods: From diarrhea cases in the Gastroenterology dept of the Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in Wuhan City, Choose met the inclusion criteria and by the exclusion of 62 patients after standard screening. Randomly divided into two groups, each groups had 31 patients. Two groups of patients were no significant difference in average age, gender the course of disease, and initial disease grades, comparable(P>0.05).The treatment group was given Buzhong Yiqi decoction, one dose a day, while half an hour before breakfast and dinner. The control group was given to the pinaverium bromide(Dicetel)50mg, orally, three times a day.Two groups of cases were treated 8 weeks as a course of treatment. Efficacy and safety observation was performed before and after the treatment. Two groups of patient needed referral once two weeks. The physician would adjust drugs according to the symptoms of plus or minus. In addition, control group was not dose other related drugs except for the pinaverium bromide(Dicetel).End of treatment were observed and recorded in all cases, respectively clinical comprehensive therapeutic effect before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, TCM syndrome score changes before and after the treatment. Through the relevant data statistics analysis, make comprehensive evaluation. And the patients were followed up for over 3 months, compared two groups of patients with long-term effect.Result: 1.According to the disease curative effect evaluation standard, there was 7 cases for the clinical cure,9 cases with marked effect,9 cases in effect and 5 cases without effect among 30 cases in the treatment group(lost one case),and the cure rate and effectiveness was 83.33%;Among the 30 cases in the control group(lost one case),3 cases were cured,6 cases with marked effect,10 cases were effective,11 cases were ineffective, and the cure rate and effectiveness was 63.33%. The treatment group was better than the control group in the curative effect of the disease. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). 2.According to the TCM syndrome curative effect evaluation standard, the total effective rate of treatment group(86.67%) was better than the control group(70.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the total score of TCM symptoms in the two groups before and after treatment, there was significant difference. As well as, the difference of score in the treatment group was greater than the control group,the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05). 3.After 8 weeks of treatment, the treatment group and the control group can improve the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine. The treatment group was superior to the control group at the improvement in the symptoms as stool, defecation frequency, faint, inappetence, fatigue, anxiety and abdominal pain and so on. The difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05). 4.The follow-up was made in 3 months after the end of treatment. The recurrence rate of the treatment group was 3.33%, and the recurrence rate of the control group was 23.33%;The disease recurrence rate of the treatment group was obviously lower than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant, P<0.05. 5.There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups during the course of clinical observation.Conclusion: In treating Diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(weakness of the spleen and stomach type) patients, using Jiawei Buzhong Yiqi Decoction can significantly improve the patient's clinical symptoms, signs, mental state. Compared with the pinaverium bromide(Dicetel),it has a certain advantage in its total curative effect and the curative effect of some symptoms.It can significantly reduce the recurrence rate.
