Clinical Application Of Pentacam Three Dimensional Imaging Analyzer In Phacoemulsification Combined With Implantation Of Toric IOL

First Part:The consistency of measuring cataract patients before Toric IOL implantation with using Three-dimensional anteriorsegment analyzer of PentacamAim:TO test the accurate and consistent results of using Pentacam A scan and IOL Master in measring the cataract patients before Toric IOL implantation.Method:Pentacam,A scan with IOL Master were used to measure the corneal curve K1 with axial view,corneal curve K2 with axial view,anterior chamber depth and axial length,the data were statistically analyzed by Pearson correlation test and Bland-Altman consistency method..Result:The results of the anterior chamber depth,corneal curve K1 with axial view and corneal curve K2 with axial view.The results were experimented with Pearson relevant analysis respectively,r=0.972,0.984,0.993,0.986,0.967(P<0.05),The consistent results of Bland-Altman method were as followings:uniform distribution of the points were on both sides of the difference average.In [-1.96 SD,the number of points was 47,49,45,48,48 and,respectively,in the period of 1.96 SD,the coincidence rate was 94%,98%,90%,96% and 96%.The result of axial length was measured by A Scan and Pentacam,The results were experimented with Pearson relevant analysis,r=0.967(P<0.05).The consistent result of Bland-Altman method was uniform distribution of the points on both sides of the difference average,In [-1.96 SD,the number of points was 48 and in the period of 1.96 SD,the coincidence rate was 96%.Conclusion:Pentacam anterior segment imaging analyzer can offer accurate and reliable results for measuring the cataract patients including corneal curve K1、K2 and axial postion.When using in clinical practice,the results between Pentacam and IOL Master can be interchanged.Second Part:Observing the stability of IOL inside capsule and transparency of posterior capsule after IOL implantation with three-dimensional anterior segment analyzer of PentacamAim: Observing Stability of IOL inside capsule and transparency of posterior capsule after Toric IOL implantation was measured by Pentacam with Image-Pro Plus6 software.Method:It is prospective clinical case control study.Sixty patients with senile cataract eyes had implantation of Toric IOL from March in 2015 to July in 2015,including T2 ten eyes,T3 twelve eyes,T4 eight eyes,T2-T4 were A group;T5 thirteen Eyes,T6 eight eyes,T7 nine eyes,T5-T7 were B group,the amount of IOL decentration,tilt and the degree of PCO were measured by Pentacam combining with Image-Pro Plus6 software on 1day,1month,3month and 6month after Toric IOL implantation.Using SPSS17.0 software to statistical analysis collected data,within the group of different time points using F test,the same time between groups using two independent samples t test.Result:There was greatly difference between 1day and 1month in decentration and tilt of A group IOL implantation respectively(F=1.94,P<0.01,F=3.06,P<0.01);There was great difference between 1day and 1month in decentration and tilt of B group IOL implantation respectively(F=2.29,P<0.01,F=2.45,P<0.01)。There was no significant difference in decentration of A group IOL with using F test,F=1.07,1.11,P>0.01(2.06°±0.60°、2.10°±0.58°and 2.12°±0.55°),there was no significant difference in tilt of A group with using F Test,F=1.31,1.17,P>0.01(0.42mm±0.21mm、0.43mm±0.24 mm 及 and 0.45mm±0.26mm)。There was no significant difference in decentration of B group with using F Test,F=1.11,1.12,P>0.01(2.08°±0.62°、2.14°±0.59°及 2.08±0.56°),there was no significant difference in tilt of B group with using F test,F=1.10,1.20,P>0.01(0.43mm±0.22mm、0.45mm±0.21 mm 及 0.42mm±0.23mm)。There was no significant difference in degree of PCO between A group and B group,P>0.01.There were also no significant difference in decentration,tilt and the degree of PCO between A group and B group with using student T test,P>0.01.Conclusion:The results of the stability of IOL inside capsule and transparency of posterior capsule between IOL Master and Pentacam anterior segment imaging analysis tool combining with Image-Pro Plus6 software showed that it had good stability of IOL inside capsule,however,the stability of latter stage was much better than the early stage after Toric IOL implantation,The different types of Toric IOL implantation had no difference towards the stability of IOL implantation.And it also had good transparency of posterior capsule after Toric IOL implantation,the incidence of PCO was very low.
