Objective: Providing more accurate and efficitive system evalution methods on scorpion species indentification and quality evalution of scorpion venom and preparation.Methods: Referring to 2015 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia in the appraisal methods of scorpion,the author used the grey correlation analysis method,IR and PAGE,RAPD technology for analysis and quality evaluation of scorpion in different regions;Using HPLC for analysis of scorpion venom components;Using HPLC to estabilish a fingerprint on scorpion preparation.Results:1.The order of Quality Evaluation of scorpion is:Qianfoshan2>Qianfoshan1>Taian1>Longkou2>Longkou1>Changqing2>Changqing1>Taian2>Yiyuan1>Yiyuan2 with the grey correlation analysis.2.IR figures in the near 1117cm-1 and 618cm-1 had the absorption peak,in 1660cm-1and 1540cm-1 had the amid?band and amid?band peak.3.Scorpion venom the best condition of HPLC analysis method, 50% methanol ultrasonic extracted 50 min,column temperature 30?,methanol-water as mobile phase.4. PAGE fingerprint was set up,6 common bands were determined.5. Using PCR-RAPD technology,2 pairs of primers were selected for the analysis of polymorphism of 19 pairs,polymorphic bands were 17.6.The HPLC fingerprint with taurine as internal standard reference peak of preparation was established 27 common characteristic peaks.Conclusion: Quality evaluation study on shandong geoherbs Scorpion and HPLC fingerprint of its Preparation not only had establised a comprehensive Scorpion evaluation system but also layed a foundation for the formulation of the quality standard of preparation.
