| Objective:In order to assess the application value of the recipe, the hot compress with traditional Chinese medicine based on the principle of "Huo Xue Tong Luo" cooperating with the far-infrared therapeutic apparatus, in the treatment of AVF in aspects of mature rate and graft patency.Methods:As syndrome differentiation theory and special treatment of TCM play an important role in the recovery of AVF, we conclude the TCM hot compress on the improvement of the AVF.60 patients from Nephrology Dept. of First Affiliated Hospital to Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine were enrolled in this prospective clinical study in the period from May 2015 to December 2015. They were randomly grouped into Group A(treatment) and Group B(control) that Group A accepts the TCM hot compress treatment cooperating with the FIR therapy and foundation treatment and Group B accepts the FIR therapy and foundation treatment only. Treatment for 2 weeks is a course and each patient be treated for 1-3 course. We observe the AVF data of two dimensional ultrasound and hemodialysis and related complications before and after the treatment. Eventually statistical analysis is been done.Results:1. Curative effect of Group A is better than Group B through the treatment of 2 weeks and 4 weeks (P<0.05). Group A and Group B can improve the caliber and blood flow of AVF (P<0.05).2. Curative effect of Group A is obviously better than Group B as a whole (P<0.05).3. The improvement of complication of hemodialysis of Group A is equivalent to Group B.Conclusions:1. The hot compress with traditional Chinese medicine based on the principle of "Huo Xue Tong Luo" cooperating with the far-infrared therapeutic apparatus has remarkably effect of maturity of AVF and flow volume of hematodialysis.2. The hot compress with traditional Chinese medicine can apply in long term to most of patients with fistula plasty or unhealthy AVF. |
