| Objective To observe the clinical effect of Yu style neck acupuncture on treatment of pseudo-bulbar paralysis caused by cerebral infarction.Methods Sixty cases of pseudo-bulbar paralysis caused by cerebral infarction patients, were randomized divided into 2 groups, each group had 30 cases, the treatment group were treated by Yu style neck acupuncture, Yu style scalp acupuncture and regular body acupuncture, the control group were treated only by Yu style scalp acupuncture and regular body acupuncture. Both groups of patients were given the conventional foundation treatment, the acupuncture treatments take 6 days as a course of treatment, continuous observation of 2 courses, and 1 day rest between two courses.Results After treatment, two groups of patients'swallow function and language function scores were significantly improved(P<0.01), and the improvement of treatment group is better than the control group, has statistic significance(P<0.05).The clinical curative effect of swallowing function was 93.33% in treatment group which obviously higher than the 80.00% in control group, has statistically significant(P<0.05), the clinical curative effect of language feature was 96.67% in treatment group which slightly higher than the 80.00% in control group, has no statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusion Yu style neck acupuncture have better efficacy for pseudo-bulbar paralysis caused by cerebral infarction, also effective in improving the patients'swallow function and language function. |
