In recent years, with the application of 3D visualization technology to the medical field, people have explored a variety of methods to establish a 3D human heart model, and are committed to the visualization of 3D human heart model. Establishing of visualization 3D cardiac model is not only looking well, easy cognitive, but also saving valuable resources of heart specimens, having an obvious economic benefits and no pollution, in addition, it provides anatomical basis for cardiac etiology and pathology analysis, cardiac anatomy teaching, heart preoperative planning and virtual surgery training, the visibility and interactivity of visualization 3D heart have a great value in medical research and teaching method.In the era of rapid development of digital technology, foreign researchers have already get a digital, precision and high degree of simulation results about human 3D cardiac model, however, their interactive mode is single by the limit of the 3D heart model constitutes, it’s hard for people to formed a directly and clear 3D structure in their brain. The research of heart model visualization interiorly is still in the initial stage of exploration, the research results lost map, lack of internal structure and important details, even it lack of necessary means of interaction, compared to the results of foreign technology, it has a larger gap. In view of these questions, this paper focuses on the establishment and the interaction of 3D heart model.According to the cardiac anatomy books and related documents, in the heat model establishing study, directly use the 3D visualization software 3Ds Max to realize the establishment of human heart with texture and all the internal structure, the details information, such as tricuspid, chordae tendineae and sinoatrial node are all well implemented. Through the study of existing interaction techniques, in the study of 3D interaction, use unity 3D software to design and develop the interactive system of visible digital 3D heart model, realize eight basic interactive display functions of 3D heart model, including translation, scaling, rotation, deleting, reduction and so on. Among them, the paper mainly studied the improvement and implementation of 3D model plane cutting algorithm, and completed the section function of 3D heart model. In addition, the system also achieved semi-transparent and text introduction of 3D model, as well as the viewing function of cardiac cycle animation video which is realized by 3Ds Max and After Effect software, display the system statically and dynamically. The end of the paper pointed out the challenges of the research on the visible digital 3D heart model, and the key development direction of this research field in the future.
