Objective:To investgate the effect of different dose of antiplatelet agents with statins on the recurrence and progress of TIA/Minor Stroke during the duration of hospital stay. Methods:A total of 527 eligible TIA/Minor Stroke patients who were hospitalized in t he department of Neurology of our hospital during November 2012 to March 2015 were included.Their hospitalized dates were reviewed and they were divided into three groups respectively:aspirin plus 20 mg atorvastatin, aspirin plus clopidogrel and20 mg atovastain, aspirin plus clopidogrel and 40 mg atovastain acroding to their dos e of antiplatelet agents and statins.Retrospective analysis their information of recur rence and progress through the SPSS17.0 statistics software.Results:1. The number of patients who were included in Aspirin monotherapy plus 20 mg Atorvastatin group in TIA/Minor Stroke was respectively 37/173,the number in Dual antiplatelet therapy plus 20 mg Atorvastatin group was respectively 42/158,and the group of Dual antiplatelet therapy plus 40 mg Atorvastatin was respectively 28/89.2. There was no statistically differece among each group in terms of the information about gender, age, hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease, smoking, drinking etc.3. The rate of recurrence and progress in each group of TIA was 18.9%,11.9%,10.7%respectively,the risk was decreased with the treatment intensity increasing, though there was no statistically difference( P=0.638?0.05).4. The rate of recurrence and progress in each group of Minor Stroke was 15.6%,6.3%,4.5% respectively, there was statistically difference among each grops(P=0.03?0.05).5. There were no Intracranial hemorrhage and bleeding complications of other system in each group of TIA/Minor Stroke during hospitalization, neighter disorders of Liver and kidney function.Conclusion:1. There is a high rate of recurrence and progress of TIA/Minor Stroke, the rate 0f each group is respectively 18.9%/15.6%?11.9%/6.3%?10.7%/4.5%.2. It likely decreases the risks of recurrent and progress of TIA/Minor Stroke and improves prognosis by dual antiplatelet therapy plus Moderate or High-Intensity stains therapy.
