The Clinical Study Of Postoperative Patients With Colon Cancer Of Deficiency Of The Spleen And Blood Stasis With The Combination Of Compound Cantharidin Capsule And Chemotherapy

Objective:Our research is to observe the effect of clinical curative about compound cantharidin capsule combined with chemotherapy in patients with postoperative colon cancer of deficiency of the spleen and blood stasis, in order to gain experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the adjuvant therapy of postoperative colon cancer with chemotherapy.Methods:60 colon cancer patients were divided randomly into two groups, one was the treatment group who received the chemotherapy (FOLFOX4 regimen) and the compound cantharidin capsule (3 capsules once, three times a day), the other was the comparison group who received the chemotherapy (FOLFOX4 regimen) alone. Two groups have been observed for two cycles (28 days). The serum immunological markers of each case were examed before and after treating for one cycle. We appraised curative effect when the experiment was finished with drug adverse reaction, TCM score, KPS grade and immune index.Results:?After treatment, CD3+were slightly higher than before in two groups, but there was no difference in both groups (P>0.05). There was a significant enhancement of CD4+and NK cell activity in Treatment group (P<0.01), while the result decline slightly in the Comparison group (P>0.05), The indexes of two groups after treating had ststistical difference (P<0.01). Treatment group in CD8+ compared with before were decreased (P<0.05), there was significant difference in both groups after treatment (P<0.01). There was a significant enhancement of CD4+/CD8+ in Treatment group (P<0.01), and there was ststistical difference in both groups after treatment (P<0.01). ?There was no significant difference in the IgA. However IgG statiscally increased in two groups (P<0.01), but there was no difference in both groups after treatment (P>0.05). Treatment group in IgM compared with before were increased (P<0.01), There was no significant difference in control group, but there was ststistical difference in both groups after treatment (P<0.05). ?Compared with before treatment, control group in KPS score were significant differences (P<0.01), while control group was slightly lower (P>0.05). Comparison of curative effect between the two groups:The KPS score was higher in the treatment group than in that the control group (P<0.05). ?The TCM symptom score of two groups were obviously improved after treatment, and the treatment group is better than the control group (P<0.05). ?A difference between these two groups, the occurrence rate of the decline of white blood cells, ausea and vomiting in treatment group is statistically lower than the one in pure chemotherapy group (P<0.05).Conclusion:In the therapy of colon cancer, Chemotherapy plus Compound Cantharidin Capsule could enhance the curative effect in the near future, improve the immune state, benefit the quality of life of patients, reducing the poisonous side effect, and increase survival time of patient. It has a certain clinical curative effect.
