Evaluating The Effect Of Continuous Quality Improvement Project Of Imaging Center Under JCI Standard

Objective: To evaluate the effect of continuous quality improvement project of imaging center of a 3-A-grade hospital under the 5th edition of JCI((Joint Commission International)standard.Methods: Comparing the statistic difference by evaluating the effects of the control group and the observation group on the key indicators before and after the continuous quality improvement project(considering the patient who were accepted with the CT and MR examination from January to March of 2014 as a control group,and seting the patients who were accepted with the CT and MR examination from January to March of 2016 as a observation group).Results: After continuous quality improvement project implementation,the first three months of 2016 CT report timely rate and the MR Working efficiency,as well as the income got a certain raise.(CT report timely rate from January to March was 93.61%,94.17%,94.02%,Comparing years 2014,it was 86.58%?80.79%?86.18%(P<0.05);The numbers of organs scanned by MR in the first three months was(118,109),Comparing years 2014,it was(80,36.75),(P<0.05);and the benefits of scanning of patients by MR in the first three months of 2016 was 1557100 RMB more than in 2014.Conclusion: The quality continuous improvement project under the 5th edition of JCI implemented by the imaging center of the hospital got an obvious effect,and these indicators are quite reasonable and can be reached,it can improve the working efficiency(CT report timely rate,MR appointment and MR examination timely rate,MR examination benefits,MR patients schedule)to a certain degree.But we may still need to improving the patients satisfaction.
