Objective:To compare outcomes of critically ill patients in icu with acute kidney injury(AKI)requiring continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT)versus those with pre-existing end-stage renal disease(ESRD)requiring CRRT to identify factors that contribute to the increased mortality seen in AKI patients.Method:Retrospective analysis in January 2010-June 2013 Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital of 79 cases were treated with CRRT AKI admitted in ICU patients with severe and 24 cases of severe combined with chronic renal failure in patients undergoing CRRT treatment the clinical data of the mortality rate of statistics. And the related risk factors regression analysis. Results:in 103 patients treated with CRRT,the mortality of patients with acute kidney injury was obviously higher than that of patients with chronic renal failure,(60.8%vs.33.3%,p=0.007),the mechanical ventilation and vasopressors and older than 60 years for CRRT treatment of patients with acute kidney injury independent risk factor for poor prognosis,Conclusions:In ICU patients requiring CRRT,patients with AKI have a higher mortality than patients with ESRD due to an increased need for mechanical ventilation. |
