Purpose:Using new Nomogram to predict the outcome of prostate biopsy in the Chinese populationMethods:We collected information from 300 patients who received prostate biopsy from January 2013 to July 2014 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University Medical College. The risk factors for model 1 and model 2 were established, including:patient age,t-PSA,f/t ratio, prostate volume(PV)and TRUS.Model 2 was added to the model 1 on the basis of the prostate PI-RADS.Using Nomogram to compare the differences between model 1 and model 2.To evaluate the efficacy of the new Nomogram which added PI-RADS to predict the outcome of the prostate biopsy in the Chinese population. Results:Model 1 has a c-value of 0.883,model 2 has a c-value of 0.893.The model 2 is more ideal than Model 1 in comparison with the ideal curve for the internal validation of the two models. In addition, the AUC of model 1 and model 2 were 0.882 and 0.893,respectively,and there was significant difference(p<0.05).Conclusion:In this article, the introduction of the new Nomogram model might guide the future prostate biopsy in the Chinese population.
