Trace elements is an important part of the body, and is closely related to health. The contents of trace elements in human hair samples by analysis of measurement. This paper study on the determination of copper in hair samples by ICP-MS, zinc, cadmium content. The optimum conditions for the determination of ICP-MS, gas flow rate and RF power, auxiliary gas flow and sampling depth.By studying the standard elements of Rh compensation on the inside of the internal standard element, element of fluctuation was measured in RSD% analysis, 3.30%~4.95%, and adding internal standard elements determination, RSD from 2.33% to 3.45%, the choice of internal standard element Rh is effective.Through the ICP-MS method to determine the content of elements in hair standard material, the accuracy and precision of copper, zinc and cadmium can meet the test requirements.By using the ICP-MS method to measure the detection limit, accuracy and precision of the standard material, it is concluded that the method can accurately measure the content of copper, zinc and cadmium in hair samples, and the accuracy and precision of the samples can meet the requirements of the laboratory test analysis. The hair like standard material three decomposition analysis method, to determine the decomposition method for the first and then dissolved ashing method.Through the comparative analysis of atomic absorption ICP-MS mass spectrometry determination results of hair standard material, measured using the ICP-MS instrument, the accuracy and the precision is high, can simultaneous determination of three elements, shortening the analysis cycle, reduce the work intensity, has been applied to the production.
