Clinical Research Of The Treatment Of Cough Variant Asthma By Yangyin Qufeng Decoction

Objective:To investigate the curative effect and safety of Yangyin Qufeng method in the treatment of cough variant asthma.Methods:64 cases of cough variant asthma were selected and randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group (32 cases) using Yangyin Qufeng Decoction Treatment, the control group (32 cases) using Symbicort (Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Powder for Inhalation), each 1 suction,2 times daily for 4 weeks, taking random grouping method and making observation table. There were recorded the symptom score on before treatment and at 1,2,4 and 8 week in each group symptoms respectively. Lung function and peripheral blood eosinophils were recorded respectively before treatment and at theend of 4 week. To observe whether there were statistical differences between the treatment group and the control group groups.Results:After 4 weeks of treatment, compared with the two groups before and after treatment, the symptom score and lung function, peripheral blood eosinophils count were statistically significant (P< 0.01); there were significant difference on display control rate between the two groups(P< 0.05); the total effective rate was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). But there were a significant statistical significances in improvement of lung function and the number of peripheral blood eosinophils(P< 0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions in the treatment group and 2 cases in the control group.Conclusion:The clinical curative effect of Yangyin Qufeng Decoction on cough variant asthma, especially in lung function and peripheral blood eosinophil counts improved significantly, high safety.Significance:Professor Zhu Qiyong summarizes 40 years of clinical experience, found that the wind invading the lung and lung yin deficiency is the main pathogenesis of cough variant asthma, therefore puts forward " Yangyin Qufeng method" is effective in the treatment of cough variant asthma treatment, Yangyin Qufeng method can improve patients with cough and associated symptoms, enhance the quality of life of patients. Have the advantages on less recurrence, and fewer side effects, it is worthy of clinical application.
