Bisdemethoxycurcumin(BDMC) is one of the three main curcuminoids, which pharmacological activities is similar to curcumin. Its general thinking that BDMC activity is lower than curcumin in the past,.But in recent years, with the deepening research on turmeric, researcher find that BDMC have remarkable curative effect on type 2 diabetes and some cancer cells, but BDMC also has low water solubility, poor stability of lightwith which is silimar to curcumin. Aim to solve these problem, we design this research and analysis field of Curcuma longa L, the separation of curcuminoids, physical and chemical properties of BDMC. preparation and quality standard of dropping pill.In separation study of BDMC. we take extractive Curcuma longa L as raw material, and improve the content of BDMC by pre-crystallization and enhance the content of BDMC from 3% to 6%. And we also set single factor studies to ensure the best condition to seperate the curcuminoids with gel silicon column. And found that CH:C1::CH3OH=99:1,99:2.99:3 can separate curcuminoids respectively. And sample mixed silicon:curcuminoid= 4:1. height ratio= 1:9, and finally recrystallization with ethanol:water= 1:1 in which we can get higher recovery ratio and high purity(?97%) crystal of BDMC.In the study of physical and chemical propeties of bisdemethoxy, we have determine the struture of BDMC with mass pectrum. NMR and FT-IR in the first. And the next we have ensure the morphology, water-solubility and melting point. Finally we study the stability of BDMC in the high temperature, high humidity and high illuminance respectively. And BDMC has been degradated from 99% to 91%.In the aspects of preparation and analysis of dropping pill, we take the methods both with single factor study and orthogonal analysis to optimize the produce process. And we got the condition of dripping speed 45/min, drops system of distance is 11 cm material liquid temperature 80?, nozzle coolant temperature 35 ?, tube temperature 15 ?. the bottom of the tube temperature of 5 ? And we utilize the DSC. FTIR. X-ray and dissolution in vitro to evalute the solid disperse of dropping pill.In the study of quality standard and stability of dropping pills,we set up the method of identify of dropping pill with TLC and quantify of BDMC in dropping pills, we also found the high temperature and high humidity do not show remarkable influence to dropping pills,but high illuminance will resulted BDMC degragated 8%, when keep in house,we found only 1.11% lost of BDMC.
