| Objective To investigate the regular secondary prevention therapy in patients with coronary artery disease after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)treatment, and explore the influencing factors of irregular treatment. Methods 112 patients with coronary artery disease who initially accepted PCI therapy in the hospital were chosen as subjects.Follow-up form had been designed, and completed by telephone or outpatient service. The follow-up contents included the standardized drug treatment(four type drugs),withdrawal rates, and the influencing factors of irregular medication. The follow-up work is responsible for the doctors who has the knowledge of diagnosis and treatment and prevention of coronary artery disease. The median follow-up time was 24.6±10.8 months(13~75months).Results 112 patients completed follow-up included 74 male patients(66.1%)and 38 female patients(33.9%).Patients included stable angina(n=32,28.6%),non-ST segment elevation acute coronary syndrome(n=66,58.9%)and ST segment elevation acute myocardial infarction(n=14,12.5%).Among all the patients,62 cases maintained regular treatment, while 50 cases were treated irregularly. The rate of irregular treatment was 44.6% in all patients..There was no significant difference in clinical characteristics and the number of lesion vessels in regular and irregular treatment groups. There was no difference of drug treatment at discharge between the two groups of patients. The postoperative follow-up rate was lower in irregular drug treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).It is worth noting that 72% patients in irregular drug treatment group had never been followed up after PCI.The results of the investigation showed that the patients at random withdrawal were more common, accounting for about 70%.The results of Logistic regression showed that female patients(OR 3.063,95% CI 1.102-8.512,P=0.032),higher education patients(OR 2.214,95% CI 1.117-4.391,P=0.023)and patients had long duration of follow-up(OR 2.014,95% CI 1.403-2.892,P<0.001)were more likely to be treatment irregularly. Conclusion The irregular therapy rates are relatively high for all kinds of medicines in patients after PCI,and optional withdrawal is very common.Cardiologists should keep more focus on the female, the irregular follow-up,and higher educated patients in the future study. |
