Establishment Of Evaluation Pediatrics Nursing-Sensitive Quality Indicators System Based On Donabedian Structure-Process-Outcome Theory

ObjectiveTo research the index system of pediatrics nursing-sensitive quality indicators in order to build a systematic and scientific and sensitive quality evaluation system which could provide references for nursing managers.MethodsThis study used literature review and experts focus group interviews methods to build a systematic,rational,integrated,operable,classification and presentation of preliminary indicators quality evaluation system.55 pediatric nursing experts through two rounds of Delphi expert consultation method to determine the final indicators.Used SPSS21.0 statistical software for data analysis.Used analytic hierarchy process(AHP)method to determine the weight of the indicators.ResultsAfter two rounds of Delphi expert consultation method conformed the agreed rate of 75%or greater,importance for the final assignment mean>3.5 and coefficient of variation of<0.25 condition evaluation indicators including 5 structure indicators,17 process indicators,18 outcome indicators.Data analysis showed that expert positive coefficient were 88.71%and 100%respectively,coefficient of authority were 0.7795 and 0.7982,the second round for indicators agreed rate is between 81.82%—100%,assignment mean differences between 4.1455—4.8545,the variation coefficient between 0.0733—0.1823,results showed that the expert thought that indicators were important and agreement.Two rounds of enquiry for Kendall coefficient results showed that the expert's opinion were all in good coordination and coordination.Application of analytic hierarchy process(AHP)software to determine the weights of indicators at all levels and sorting.ConclusionThis study in accordance with the relevant documents combined with a large number of domestic and foreign literature,clinical guidelines,etc,on the basis of Donabedian structure—process—outcome's model as the theoretical support,and used two rounds of delphi method and analytic hierarchy process(AHP)method to build a initially pediatric nursing sensitive quality index of the system.The system including the structure,process and outcome of three first-level indicators,40 secondary indexes,the weight of the first-level index from high to low in turn is:the outcome indicator(0.4934),the process indicator(0.3108),the structure indicator(0.1958).According to the expert advice of positive coefficient,variation coefficient,authority coefficient,etc.Results showed that expert consulting represented high credibility.
