The Study Of Difference Of Two Methods In Judging Intertrochanteric Fracture’s Reduce During Operation

Objective:With the aging population’s coming,intertrochanteric fracture is becoming normal,related to osteoporosis among the aged.Traditional method of X-ray photographing of femoral neck anteversion is not the exact angle during the reduce in operation.Besides,femoral neck anteversion is necessary to the stability of fracture and articulatio coxae.The study aims at searching for a simpler and more accurate method of of X-ray photographing to measure the femoral neck anteversion,which can guide the reduce duringoperation,reduce operation time as well as enhance the mission success rate of operation.Methods:The study has two stages,firstly we find 4 people(2 males and 2 females without hip fracture and osteopathia,both sides)to implement the preliminary,which uses CT method,traditional and new X-ray methods to measure the femoral neck anteversions.Through the comparision of traditional and new methods between CT method,we find out the conclusion that the new method is more precise than traditional method in measuring femoral neck anteversion.Secondly we put the 31 intertrochanteric fracture patients(affected side)in the measuring of the same 3 methods.Finally,using the SPSS 22.0 to analyse the femoral neck anteversions between traditional,new X-ray methods and CT method to observe the difference between traditional and new X-ray method.Results:In preliminary experiment of 4 people(both sides),the femoral neck anteversions of the traditional and new methods are both larger than CT method,and the difference of the latter method is smaller than the former.In the 31 intertrochanteric fracture patients,the comparison of femoral neck anteversions between traditional,new methods and CT method has statistical significance(P=0.00,P=0.007).The comparison of femoral neck anteversions between traditional and new methods also has statistical significance(P=0.00),which infers to new method is more precise than traditional method in measuring femoral neck anteversionConclusion:The result of preliminary experiment and the experiment of 31 intertrochanteric fracture patients infer that new method is more actually than traditional method in measuring the true femoral neck anteversion,which is measured by CT method.New method is better than the traditional method in valuing the reduce during operation,and is more practical in medical activities.
