The Petroclival Region Huge Meningioma Surgery Clinical Curative Effect Of Treatment

ObjectiveDiscuss the petroclival region huge meningioma surgical methods and postoperative clinical analysis,summary of neural function in patients with postoperative recovery rate and the removal rate.This study for the petroclival meningioma surgical approach and treatment of related complications,and postoperative quality of life in patients with evaluation,to find a more effective and safe surgical method.MethodsRetrospective analysis from January 2012 to December 2016 in the first affiliated hospital of zhengzhou university neurosurgery 56 cases clinical data o f patients with petroclival area huge meningioma,including 18 males and female 38 people,with an average age of 49.8 years.The largest diameter of the t umor was greater than 4.5 cm.The starting point of the tumor was in the are a of the rock,and all patients in this study had surgery to remove the tumor.According to the basic pathogenesis of patients situation,this study cases of s urgical method in the following:-rock under the temporal bone in 14 cases o f surgery and after under the pillow,sigmoid sinus surgery method in 26 cases,expand the pterion surgery was performed in 6 cases,up and down through r ock bone-before the sigmoid sinus combined surgery was performed in 10 c ases.The degree of neurofunctional repair of all patients was observed after th e operation,and the follow-up period was 3-30 months.ResultPetroclival MeningiomaS(PCMS)to remove the classification: Simpson grade I,24 cases,12 cases Simpson grade II,Simpson,8 cases of level III,Simpson level IV,12 cases.Facial paralysis caused by postoperative complications: 3.Trigeminal neuralgia: 2 cases;Drinking water: 3 cases;Difficulty swallowing: 4.The hearing loss: 4 cases;Voice hoarse: 1cases.Conclusion:According to tumor size,texture,the foundation of the parts,and so on and so forth choose different surgical approach,around the removal of the tumor at the same time should protect important nerves and blood vessels,rather than the whole tumor cut rate,try to avoid patients with postoperative complications.In this case,the postoperative treatment of the patient was lower and the quality of life was assessed.
