Clinical Study Of Professor Zhu Jia’s Treating Chronic Cough With Insect Drugs Medical Records Based On Data Mining Research

Objective:To summarize Prof.Zhu-Jia’s academic thoughts and his method of using insect drugs to treat chronic cough by data mining technology.It can provide new idea for treating chronic cough.Method:Collecting and classifying the chronic cough cases treating by insect drugs between 2011 and 2016,which includes 364cases and 386 visits.Using data mining techniques including frequency analysis and association rules to analyse and summarize the results combined with the Professor Zhu-Jia’s clinical experience.Results:In the 386 visits,105 patients were male with 108 visits and 259 patients were female with 278 visits.Main symptoms frequency appear higher is cough,throat itching,white phlegm,paroxysmal cough,less sputum,dry cough,which account for respectively 91.19%,48.96%,34.46%,31.87%,29.27%,27.20%;Pathogenesis mainly involving:wind evil invading lung,wind-phlegm obstructing lung,deficiency of both lung and spleen,which account for respectively 36.27%,24.61%,11.14%.Association rules analysis results are shown that there are strong correlations between insects drugs and clinical symptoms,insects drugs and tongue,insects drugs and pulse.Conclusion:According to the study,wind evil invading lung,wind-phlegm obstructing lung are the basic pathogenesis.Coughing for a long time will cause deficiency,such as lung-spleen insufficiency,which is deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality.Insects drugs with the function of dispelling pathogenic wind,calming endogenous wind down,reducing phlegm and resolving masses can be used in patients with throat itching,paroxymal cough,dry cough,white phlegm,less sputum,cough badly at night and so on.They have pink or red tounge with thin or yellow thin coating,thready-stringy or thready-rolling pulse.The pathogenesis of those patients are wind evil invading lung,wind-phlegm obstructing lung.
