Objective:To evaluate the immediate value of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI?DCE-MRI?quantitative parameters after HIFU treatment of uterine fibroids by studying the correlation between the quantitative parameters of dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging?DCE-MRI?and the therapeutic effect of uterine leiomyoma.Materials and Methods:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,13 cases of uterine fibroids by HIFU were treated with Philips Achieva 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging.MRI routine scan and DCE-MRI examination were performed within 1 days before treatment and after treatment for 1 days.Omni-Kinetics?GE Healthcare?software was used to obtain the quantitative parameter values according to the dual chamber Tofts model. They were grouped into two groups, the complete ablation group and the non-complete ablation group according to appearance of DCE-MRI.Quantitative DCE-MRI parameters and their changes before and after treatment were assessed and compared.Mann-Whitney U test and analysis of variance were compared between the two groups.Spearman, scorrelations were applied to find the association between quantitative parameters and groupings.Results:1.DCE-MRI parameters?Ktrans,Kep,Ve?were significantly lower after HIFU ablation?p<0.05?,Vp change is not obvious;2.In addition to Vpbefore treatment-after treatment, all quantitative parameters before treatment subtract the quantitative parameters after treatment?i.e.,before treatment-after treatment?were not associated with group?P > 0.05?;3.Ktransafter treatment,Veafter treatmentand Ktransrate of change,Verate of changewere correlated with group.Ktransafter treatmentand Veafter treatmentwere positively correlated with the grouping, and correlation coefficents were0.713 and 0.757 respectively.Ktranschangeable rateand Vechangeable ratewere negatively correlated with the grouping, and correlation coefficients both were-0.802,and the correlation is more significant.Conclusion:DCE-MRI quantitative parameters can be used to evaluate the immediate efficacy by HIFU treatment of uterine fibroids, and it has reference value for the guidance of clinical prognosis.
