Observations Of The Clinical Curative Effectiveness Of The Treatment Of The Wind Phenotype Chronic Urticaria Using TCM Compound In Conjunction With Acupoint Catgut Embedment

Objective: observe the clinical curative effectiveness of the treatments of wind phenotype chronic urticaria with modified ma xin Fuzi decoction in conjunction with acupoint embedment.Method: 90 cases of patients with wind phenotype chronic urticaria were divided into three groups.and the treatment group was given: oral administering of modified maxin Fuzi decoction in conjunction with acupoint embedment;Control 1: given modified maxin Fuzi decoction;Control 2: given oral administering of Yu Ping Feng capsules.The pre-treatment and post-treatment degrees of itchiness,wheal sizes,durations,number of wheals,number of onsets as well as the counts of the eosinophilic granulocytes of the three groups were observed,as well as the incidences of averse reactions.Result: 1.Intra-group comparison: in the comparisons of the degrees of itchiness,wheal sizes,durations,number of wheals,number of onsets as well as the counts of the eosinophilic granulocytes,p values were all <0.05,indicating the group of modified maxin Fuzi decoction in conjunction with acupoint embedment,the group with oral administering of modified maxin Fuzi decoction and the group with oral administering of Yu Ping Feng capsules all featured curative effectiveness on the wind phenotype chronic urticaria.2.Intro-group comparisons:(1)degree of itchiness: in contrast to Control 1 and Control 2,the degree of itchiness in the joint treatment group was obviously reduced,the p values were all<0.05;in contrast to Control 2,the degree of itchiness in Control1 was markedly reduced,p<0.05.(2)Sizes of the wheals: in contrasts to Control 1 andControl 2,the sizes of the wheals in the joint treatment group were substantially reduced,p<0.05;in the comparison of Control 1 and Control 2,the reductions in the sizes of wheals were not obvious,p=0.26>0.05.(3)Number of wheals: in contrast to Control 1 and Control 2,the reductions of number of wheals in the joint treatment group were obvious,p <0.05;the number of wheals in Control 1 was obviously reduced in contrast to Control 2,p=0.04<0.05.(4)Durations: in contrast to Control 1and Control 2,the onset durations in the joint treatment group were markedly reduced,p <0.05;and in the comparisons of Control 1 and Control 2,the reductions of the onset durations were not obvious,p=0.11>0.05.(5)Number of onsets: in contrasts to Control1 and Control 2,the number of onsets in the joint treatment group was markedly reduced,p<0.05;and in the comparisons of Control 1 and Control 2,the reduction of the number of wheal onsets was obvious,p=0.03<0.05/(6)In the contrast of the joint treatment group and Control 2,the count of the eosinophilic granulocytes was markedly reduced,p<0.05;in the contrast of the treatment with Control 1,the count of eosinophilic granulocytes had no significant variations,p>0.05;in the comparison of Control 1 and Control 2,the count of eosinophilic granulocytes has no significant variations,p>0.05.Conclusion: the clinical curative effectiveness of the treatment of the wind phenotype chronic urticaria in conjunction with acupoint catgut embedment is specific.
