The Effects Of Wulongdan On Serum Levels Of IL-6, IL-17, TGF-? And MMP-3 In Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:Statistical analysis of the control group(LEF)and treatment group(Wulongdan combined with leflunomide)treatment in patients with phlegm and blood stasis type of rheumatoid arthritis related TCM syndrome score,the clinical curative effect;analysis of the effect of wulong dan on rheumatoid arthritis patients serum IL-6,IL-17,TGF-? and MMP-3 content,to explore the the mechanism of treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.Methods:A total of 60 cases of patients with rheumatoid arthritis,rheumatoid arthritis with the western medicine diagnosis,differentiation and also meet the TCM arthralgia-phlegm stasis syndrome type.Through the study and approval of the ethics committee of the college,the patients were divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases)according to the randomized grouping method.The treatment cycle was 12 weeks.Before the treatment,statistical analysis data of two groups of patients with gender,age,course of disease,no difference in conclusions were comparable;the TCM syndrome score were recorded after zeroth,twelfth weeks,to evaluate its clinical efficacy;enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)serum contents of IL-6,IL-17,clear detection of TGF-? and MMP-3;every 4 weeks for patients with safety indicators(blood,urine routine,liver and kidney function)assessment,record adverse events.Results:In improving the TCM syndrome score,the data show that the treatment group improved significantly better than the control group.The treatment group reached 28 patients with clinically effective treatment,the total effective rate was 93.33%;the control group reached 22 patients with clinical treatment markedly effective,the total effective rate was 73.33%,and the curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.The serum levels of IL-6,IL-17 and MMP-3 in the treatment group were significantly decreased,while the content of TGF-? was significantly increased.Compared with the control group,the statistical analysis showed that the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05)Conclusion:Analysis of the test results show that Wulongdan has certain therapeutic effects on patients with phlegm and blood stasis type of rheumatoid arthritis;the mechanism is by adjusting the content of serum RA in patients with IL-6,TGF-?,IL-17 and beta MMP-3,influence the biological effect,so as to prevent or delay the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and joint destruction effect.
