Objective: To explore the different total dosage of heparin and protamine between Xinjiang Uygur and Han children with congenital heart disease undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass.Method: Selected December 2014 to October 2016,60 pediatric patients with congential heart disease from Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University underwent heart surgery, included 30 cases of the Uygur group,30 cases of Han group.Collected the general information, surgery time, intraoperative blood transfusion.Monitoring preoperative basis Activated Clotting Time(ACT).ACT was measured and recorded in 5 min after intravenous 2mg per kg heparin in the first time, when the ACT value was less than 480 s,a bolus does of heparin established in 0.2mg/kg of body weight untill the ACT value was more than 480 s,and then record the total heparin dose. After the CPB,a dose of protamine calculated based on the dose of heparin administered in a 1:1 ratio untill the ACT maintains in 60 s to 160s(every time administration of the previous time 1/3 of the standard programmed does of protamine).Recorded the total dosage of heparin and protamine, postoperative 6h?12h and 24 h chest drainage. Results: The general information,CPB time, the value of ACT in full hepariniztion were no statistically significant difference between two groups. There was statistically significant difference of the total dosage of protamine, heparin, intraoperative blood transfusion, postoperative 6h,12 h and 24 h chest flow(P < 0.05).Conclusion: There is different total dosage of heparin and protamine between Xinjiang Uygur and Han infants with congential heart disease undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass. The Han group is lower than Uygur group in total dosage of heparin, intraoperative blood transfusion and postoperative 6h chest flow, but the total dosage of protamine and postoperative 24 h chest flow is higher than Uygur group.
