Objective: To investigate the sonographic features and thickness of the dorsal Lisfranc ligament between the first(medial)cuneiform(C1)and second metatarsal(M2),distance between C1 and M2 in normal people with high-frequency ultrasoun-d,to evaluate its clinical application. Methods: 100 healthy volunteers were exami-ned the dorsal Lisfranc ligament with high-frequency ultrasound for measuring the chickness of dorsal Lisfranc ligament and the distance between C1 and M2.Resu-lts: The display rate of dorsal Lisfranc ligament in the 100 healthy volunteers through high-frequency ultrasound is 100%.The thickness of dorsal Lisfranc ligament between right foot(0.824±0.174)mm and left foot(0.823±0.166)mm was no significant statistical difference(P>0.05),the thickness of dorsal Lisfranc ligament be-tween male right foot:(0.874±0.161)mm,left foot:(0.881±0.165)mm and female right foot:(0.779±0.174)mm,left foot:(0.772±0.151)mm was no significant statistical difference(P>0.05);the distance between C1 and M2 was no significant statistical difference(P>0.05)between right foot(0.862±0.139)mm and left foot(0.865±0.142)mm,the distance between C1 and M2 was no significiant statistical difference(P>0.05)between male right foot:(0.877±0.154)mm,left foot:(0.868±0.111)mm and female right foot:(0.849±0.125)mm,left foot:(0.862±0.167)mm).C onclusion: High-frequency ultrasonography is a viable, noninvasive, inexpensive exa-mination method for the dorsal Lisfranc ligament with a distinct display, measuring the distance between C1 and M2 is more convenient and accurate. As indirect si-gns of Lisfranc ligament injury,high-frequency ultrasonography may be a new imaging diagnostic method in Lisfranc ligament injury for early diagnosis.
