1.safflower is a genus belonging to the tribe Cynareae,subfamily Tubuliflorae and family Compositae.It is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine.It has the multiple bioactivities of invigorating the circulation of blood,stimulating the menstrual flow,relieving pain,reducing blood pressure and so on.In order to further investigate the constituents of safflower,this research select the flower and oil of safflower from Xinjiang,the separation and structure identification of the chemical constituents from the safflower and methanol extracts of its oil were investigated.This research used heat reflux extraction,macroporous resin column chromatograph,Saphadex column chromatograph,ODS column chromatograph and pHPLC methods to extract and isolate th e chemical constituents from flower and edible oil of safflower,and identified 12 compounds from safflower and 3 compounds from methanol extracts of oil of safflower.The coumpounds were ide ntified as syringin(1),6-hydroxykaempferol-3,6,7-tri-O-?-D-glucoside(2),4?,5-dihydroxyl-6,7-di-O-?-D-glucopyranosyl flavanone(3),6-hydroxykaempferol-3,6-O-?-D-diglucoside(4),6-hydroxykaempferol-3-O-?-D-rutinosyl-6-O-?-D-glucoside(5),kaempferol 3-O-?-D-glucopyranosyl-(1?2)-O-?-D-glucopyrano side(6),6-hydroxykaempferol-3-O-?-D-glucoside(7),6-hydroxykaempferol-3-O-?-D-rutinoside(8),kae mpferol-3-O-?-D-rutinoside(9),6-metho-xyflavone-3-O-?-D-rutinoside(10),p-hydroxybenzaldehde(11),1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-3-carboxy-2-carboline(12),2-hydroxy-2-(3',4'-dihydroxyphenyl)methyl-3-(3'',4''-dime thoxyphenyl)methyl-?-butyrolactone(13),5,7-dihydroxy-4'-methoxy flavone(14)and ?-Tocopherol(15),respectively.In conclusion,compound 12 was isolated from this plant for the first time,compou nds 13~15 were first time isolated from oil of safflower.2.Acorn is the fruit of Oak(Quercus robur L.)tree,which belongs to the family Quercus.It can be used as both medicine and food.It has the bioactivities of detoxification,hemostatic act ivity,anti-inflammatory activity and anti-bacterial activity.This research used heat reflux extraction,silica gel column chromatograph and pHPLC methods to extract,purified and identified 8 compo unds from acorn,the compounds are identified as gallic acid(1),protocatechuic acid(2),methyl gal late(3),ethyl gallate(4),1,2,3,6-tetra-O-galloyl-glucoside(5),1,2,3,4,6-penta-O-galloyl-glucoside(6),1,6-di-O-galloyl-glucoside(7)and 1,2,6-tri-O-galloyl-glucoside.All the compounds are isolated from the Acorn for the first time..
