Effect Of Bushen Huoxue Decoction On Postoperative Rehabilitation Of Elderly Patients With Intertrochanteric Fracture

Objective:Through clinical studies,to observe the clinical effect of Bushen Huoxue Decoction on postoperative rehabilitation of old patients with intertrochanteric fracture of kidney deficiency and blood stasis.Method:Choose about 52 elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture admitted to Changzhou TCM Hospital from August 2015 to February 2016 were divided into the observation group(26 cases)and control group(26 cases)by the random number table grouping method.Closed reduction and proximal femoral nail anti(PFNA)-rotation internal fixation were performed in both of the 2 group by the same group of surgeons After the surgery.After the surgery,all of the patients were treated conventionally with anticoagulants,anti-infective,taking calcium and other nutritional support treatments.Moreover,The patients in observation group were treated with an oral application of Bushen Huoxue Decoction for consecutive 24 weeks.The Ca,P,ALP,pain degree,BMD and Harris hip function score,were compared between the two groups.Result:There were no statistical differences between the two groups in bone metabolic biochemical markers(Ca,P,ALP)before the operation,1 week and 2 weeks later(P>0.05).The two groups’ VAS score and the BMD of the lumbar vertebrae are close before treatment(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups at 1 weeks after operation(P>0.05).After 2 weeks the observation group’s scores were significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in BMD value between the two groups at 12 weeks after operation(P>0.05).After 24 weeks the observation group’s scores were significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).Harris hip function score were compared between the two groups at 2,12 and 24 weeks after the operation.Preoperative and postoperative 2 weeks,12 weeks,no statistical difference(P>0.05),24 weeks after operation,there was statistical difference(P<0.05),the observation group was better than the control group.Harris hip function score of 24 weeks after operation,the observation group’s excellent rate was 88.46%,and the control group’s excellent rate was 65.38%,the comparison between the two groups(P<0.05)the observation group was better than the control group.Conclusion:Oral Bushen Huoxue Decoction in the treatment to treat elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture is effect.It can alleviate the symptoms of pain after operation,increase BMD,Promote the recovery of hip function.
