Objective: To compare perioperative blood loss in posterior lumbar intervertebral fusion with topical, intravenous of tranexamic acid. Methods: 90 patients in Xinjiang military district general hospital between December 2015 and December 2016 were divided into three groups.Topical group: a total of 1 g txa was given in the lumbar incision of 30 cases.Intravenous group: 1g txa was immersed in 100 ml physiological saline, and given 15 minutes before operation in 30 cases.Blank group: Do not use the tranexamic acid operation.Total blood loss, the postoperative drainage, the hidden blood loss and the blood coagulation function were compared among the three groups. Results:Total blood loss, the postoperative drainage, the hidden blood loss were significantly lower in the topical group than in the intravenous group and blank group(P<0.05).No significant difference in Total blood loss, the postoperative drainage, the hidden blood loss and the blood coagulation function decrease was detected between the intravenous group and blank group(P>0.05).Conclusion: These findings confirm that topical application of tranexamic acid could obviously reduce blood loss in patients with posterior lumbar intervertebral fusion.Intravenous small dose of tranexamic acid could not obviously reduce blood loss in patients with posterior lumbar intervertebral fusion.
