| Objective: To evaluate the short-term clinical application of the three Nickel-ti-tanium mechanical instruments in different movement patterns combined with warm vertical compaction in the one-visit endodontic treatment.Methods: 375 affected mandibular posterior teeth from 375 patients aged from 19 to 68 years old and di-agnosed for chronic periapical periodontitis were randomly allotted into three groups: WaveOne reciprocating group,Pro Taper Universal rotary group and Twisted File Adaptive group.There were 125 patients in each group.All the canals of teeth w-ere instrumented with a crown-down technique,combined with ultrasonic irrigation with 3% sodium hypochlorite,and then subjected to root canal filling using warm vertical compaction.Compare the root canal preparation time,the rate of postoperative pain at 24 h,72h and 7d,and the short-term clinical effect.Results: The r-oot canal preparation time differed significantly among three groups(P<0.001),which was(2.14±1.07)min in the WaveOne,(3.08±1.19)min in the Pro Taper Univ-ersal and(3.08±1.19)min in the Twisted File Adaptive.The postoperative pain showed significant difference among three groups at 24 h and 72h(P<0.05).At 7d p-ostoperatively,there was no significant difference(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the short-term clinical effect(P>0.05).Conclusion: WaveOne group was the shortest time in root canal preparation and can improve the preparation efficiency;Twisted File Adaptive nickel-titanium instrument in root canal preparat-ion can significantly reduce the pain reaction after operation;The curative effect was evaluated by WaveOne group and Twisted File Adaptive group in 3 months af-ter operation,and the clinical effect was significant.The new nickel-titanium instrument for root canal preparation for infected root canals can realize one-visit root canal treatment,which has certain significance for clinical application. |
