ObjectiveTo study the effect of body composition in different chemotherapy regimens and course of treatment in breast cancer patients, and provide objective data for nutritional status assessment, nutritional therapy and clinical treatment of breast cancer patients,to further improve the effectiveness of breast cancer treatment.MethodsRandom selection of ?-? c(no cachexia)patients with breast cancer and divided into EC program group(36 cases)and AC(30 cases)program group using prospective research methods. The physical indicators as height, weight, waist circumference, hip and the skinfold thickness of subscapular, biceps, triceps, abdomen, thighs were measured before chemotherapy, after the first course of treatment, the second course of treatment, the third course of treatment and the fourth course of treatment in patient. The patient's waist-to-hip ratio, waist height ratio and body mass index as well as body fat percentage, body fat and lean body weight were calculated indirectly. To understand the trend of body composition in different programs and cources in breast cancer patients. The data were analyzed by SPSS13.0.The variance analysis was used to analyze the changes of the body composition of the patients along with the program andthe course of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ResultsEC program, the difference of BMI,WSR,body fat and body fat rate of different course of treatment was statistically significant(P <0.05).The difference of BMI,WSR(except for the second chemotherapy and after the first chemotherapy),body fat, body fat rate were statistically significant between pairwise comparisons in the course(P <0.05).AC program, the difference of BMI,WSR,body fat and body fat rate of different course of treatment was statistically significant(P <0.05),the difference of WSR(the first course of treatment before chemotherapy, the second and third course of comparison)was statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05),the difference of BMI,body fat,and body fat rate were statistically significant between pairwise comparisons in the course(P <0.05).Conclusions1 EC program,BMI,WSR,BF is related to different treatment, and with the progress of treatment increased;AC program,BMI,BF is related to different treatment, with the progress of treatment appears to reduce the trend after the first increase,WSR with the progress of treatment increased.2 Changes in body fat rate and a different course of treatment in the EC program showed a gradual increase with the course of treatment,in the AC program showed a decrease in the first course of treatment after the trend.
